  • Beautiful but wash your walls well before hanging!
Color: Green Pattern Name: Wallpaper
I think I purchased every faux grasscloth on Amazon for my living room. I ended up going with this product in Whisper Blue as the other colors didn’t match. The other colors are lovely, but slightly darker than how they showed on my screen and the texture and weight make it hard to tell it’s not real grasscloth. I hope they will keep making more colors! Hanging it was not difficult, the pattern is forgiving and doesn’t have to be lined up exactly, though it does have a repeat like regular wallpaper (unlike real grasscloth ) so you can line it up if you want to; it doesn’t stick to itself like cheaper brands. BUT it’s REALLY important to wash your walls and your hands before hanging. I washed my walls, applied it, it started falling, I pulled it down, washed the walls a second time and trimmed the ends where I’d touched it, then re-hung it and it’s stayed up beautifully since. ... show more

  • Great Wallpaper
Color: Sky Blue Pattern Name: Wallpaper
From someone who’s pretty experienced with wall coverings, including natural grasscloth, I’d recommend this dupe wallpaper. It’s thick, sticks very well and the color is exactly as pictured. I placed two separate orders and the color matched perfectly! But I do have some tips that made the process go smooth over walls that have lot of bums and prior terrible paint jobs that I didn’t want to bother fixing: 1. Cut the wall paper into random sized pieces and turn some upside down for more variation. Not only it will look more natural, as natural grasscloth doesn’t have patterns, but your brain will appreciate it! Any wall defects, tone differences and slight inclination will be less obvious. The line up will be easier too and there’ll be less stretching and pulling, which messes up the glue. 2. Get the rubber roller! It might seem unnecessary but, trust me, your hand doesn’t do a very good job at helping the wallpaper adhere and smoothing out the edges. It’s a huge difference! 3. For flat and chalk paint, paint prep cleaner will help with adherence. Boy’s room in progress… ... show more

  • *UPDATED* from previous 5-star review!
Color: Citrus Green Pattern Name: Wallpaper
EDIT #2: Alright guys, I’ve officially had it with this wallpaper so demoting my review to 1-star. Takes *a lot* for me to leave a 1-star review. Initially, I posted 5 stars after using this in our last house in green years ago, then downgraded to 2 stars recently after using it in our bar at our new house. I wound up using wallpaper adhesive to reapply the fallen areas and corners. Weeks later, it’s falling down all over again. Got back up on a ladder and reapplied. To my shock, I came home days later to fallen wallpaper. It felt like a sick joke. Had my husband reapply paste, and same thing. Since I clearly didn’t utilize the adage of “insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results” I stupidly then decided to pay our handyman $200 to apply an *additional* coat of wallpaper paste, to no avail days later…still coming down from the walls in all corners and bubbling off the walls in the center. What in the actual %#*€?!…omg it’s like this stuff has a death wish to go into the trash, which is exactly where it’ll be going. This is the most ruthless, savage wallpaper I’ve ever battled with. I absolutely love everything about this wallpaper too, the color, the texture, how it matches with all my colors, but the love is unrequited. RIP wallpaper; we had quite the duel but you won the battle this time, and I’m determined to find your replacement! EDIT #1: I’m updating a review I left years ago after using the green version of this wallpaper, which was great at the time and stayed put on our textured walls at our old home. We recently moved and fortunately, now have smooth walls throughout so thought the light denim blue color would work great as an accent wall behind a pass through bar to compliment navy cabinets. I put up a portion of this stuff last night. Still as easy to work with in terms of repositioning and matching up the pattern. It has a beautiful appearance with light texturing and is a solid faux Grasscloth option. It appeared smooth on seemed to adhere well after applying last night with. On feel using my fingers to test, it seemed to have decent adhesive, but not the case on my walls. I came home from work to find a crinkled mess of paper that fell down from the walls today. In addition, the portion that remains on the wall has developed large bubbles which were not there when I applied yesterday, likely from the adhesive failing in those areas too. I used a smoothing tool and pressure with it to and it looked perfect yesterday night. While this is easily solved by spraying adhesive before application it defeats the purpose of removable peel and stick option and will make it much harder to remove down the line. I deliberately chose peel and stick as I planned to likely change this in the near future to a cool metallic tile backsplash once I find the design I want, but obviously needing to spray adhesive on the entire wall will make it likely for the walls to sustain damage when removing, which I wanted to avoid to begin with - I would’ve purchased genuine unpasted grasscloth had I of known I’d need adhesive spray to get this to stay put . Also, because it’s a crinkled mess and there’s bubbles I will have to scrap the entire portion I already did, which required a lot of time for precise cuts around the window. Very frustrating. Again, I applied this to smooth and clean walls. Makes me question if this works better with textured walls because it may create more of a “grip” to avoid it slipping off the smooth walls. I remember in the old house, it stayed in place for years (I used the light green, dark green, wheat, as well as this same color in various rooms and it stayed put throughout each room for the nearly 3 years we lived there) - you could subtly see the textured walls in certain lighting at the old house but you likely wouldn’t have known unless I pointed it out. It worked great years ago but today, not so much on our smooth walls. Thus, it may also be a quality issue. I would look elsewhere for peel and stick grasscloth options to avoid your hard work and time being wasted if you experience a similar issue. I left the pictures up from my initial review of the green color in our old home so you can see how it looks over textured walls, but do not quote me that the quality is the same currently, given the issues I experienced at our new home with smooth walls. Uploaded a photo of the blue version I just applied last night to demonstrate the unexpected crinkled mess I came home to today. Buy at your own risk. ... show more

  • Beautiful!
Color: Mineral Blue Pattern Name: Wallpaper
I had a standard white contractor closet door that was ugly. I didn’t want to spend the money to replace or paint it. This product worked extremely well to freshen up the look of my room. It was easy to install. I followers instructions exactly (clean the surface, dry, and use the smoothing tool, unwrapping and placing a small amount at a time). It took two pieces to vertically cover the door so careful measuring was important. There is no way to get the design to line up exactly which didn’t bother me nor is noticeable once it’s up - the linen “grass” look is a nice design. The material feels very durable and it’s been up over a year and has not fallen down or peeled away. ... show more

  • Beautiful bad doesn't adhere for long. Buy the real thing
Color: Blue Pattern Name: Wallpaper
This wallpaper was pretty easy to apply, however it is not holding up very well. I looked up against my crown molding after just two weeks and it is already peeling away from the wall. The color and design and the way it looks is so beautiful but the adhesion is bad quality. We even used a binding primer before hanging the wallpaper as we saw other reviews on the peeling. I won't use peel & stick again. It is too pricey for what it's worth. ... show more
