The Nuu N20 has been my primary phone for almost 2 months now. Not so much by choice... I wrecked my previous phone and waiting for a better one to come along. As a cheap backup phone, it's OK. Everything works OK, and in general the speed and performance in using everyday apps actually exceeds my expectations for a lesser-known brand phone at the lowest possible price. No bells and whistles, but it works. The two areas I find very lacking are: - Camera quality, especially in low light or zoomed in. It's grainy, fine for a zoomed-out landscape but nothing HD, and and has none of the dark vision capabilities of newer phones. - Anything to do with GPS. The device does have a GPS sensor but not a compass or certain gyroscopic/acceleration sensors which in most phones really help pinpoint the location and movement of the phone. As a result, maps-related features are often off by hundreds of feet, and navigation can be unreliable. If you need a phone for everyday tasks like web, email, call/text, and other basic apps (e.g., banking and shopping / not 3D games) you'll be happy with this phone. If you need good photos or rely on your phone for driving directions often.... you may find this model frustrating.

I've been an Android fan for years and even published a few apps on the play store. I got this frankly more as a backup phone as I've had issues with phones in the past and can't go without them. As such, I have it set up and running on wifi only, running apps that I don't care to burden my personal phone with since I don't mind factory-resetting this one if needed. For the price point, I'm frankly surprised at how well it works. I hadn't expected much with a phone at this price point but it's really a pretty decent phone for the money. The screen is responsive and it seems to be a decent build quality. I've played a few games on it and it hasn't had an issue keeping up. I did find the camera a bit lacking compared to my daily driver, but that phone also costs considerably more than this one. If you're in the market for a budget phone, I'd definitely give this one a chance. It won't quite stack up with a $1000 phone, but it's hard to beat the speed and quality where it's at.

This may sound strange but I ordered this phone not to use as a phone but for everything else that it's capable of doing. I wanted another phone to do the things that I don't want my regular phone tied up doing. For instance I like to stream music in my shop to a Bluetooth speaker but I don't want my phone to be busy doing that so it can be free to take or make calls, texts and emails. In addition sometimes I need to get photos and videos in places where I don't want to risk damaging my main phone and this phone seemed like the perfect fit for all the things I need it to do. My main phone, which is an iPhone 13 Pro, is a few years old now and it still works great with a lot of battery life left so I'm not ready to upgrade yet. Now that I've been checking out the NUU N20 phone for a few days I'm amazed at how the cost of technology has gone down while still being able to provide great quality components. For instance when it was new I paid $1000 for my iPhone and this one was selling for $109 when I ordered and for that super low price of about 1/10th of what I paid for the iPhone it takes higher resolution photos, has a bigger screen, a bigger battery and has the same amount of RAM which I think is pretty amazing (see comparison chart below). So yes there are plenty of other features that are not up to the level of the iPhone but I still think this phone is a great value. When I setup the phone it asked if wanted it to set it up using my existing phone so I did and all that was needed was a cord between the two phones, which I didn't even know was possible across operating systems. The setup went quickly and I found that all my photos, music and the Android versions of my apps had been installed. I'm quite happy with the performance of the NUU N20 phone and so far it has done everything I needed it to and it's done it well. I've been streaming hours of high quilt music and it sounds great. I also added a 128GB Micro SD card and loaded it up with tons of music for times when I don't have WIFI available. I've been taking photos and videos and they look great though the highest quality video the N20 can produce is HD (1920x1080) but that's okay with me. I've had no issues using the WIFI to cruise the internet and check email. I'm not a gamer so I don't know how the lower level processor would handle action gaming but I assume the iPhone would surpass it's capabilities. I noticed that the Amazon Kindle app had been installed on the phone so I tried reading one my books and I found it to be enjoyable to read with the larger screen. This phone is marketed as a great phone for kids and I imagine it would be but if you find you need an extra media device I can tell you it works great for that too. For a "basic" phone, this hits all the right spots. It has a clean Android build, even if it is a one generation behind. Runs pretty smoothly, for every day tasks like web browsing and catching up on shows on Netflix. Connects to the T-Mobile network without any issues. The dual SIM and being an unlocked phone makes it convenient for travel. It is nice that they included a case and it still has a 3.5mm audio jack. At this price, I would imagine this phone being really handy as a back up phone, maybe a kid's first phone, or a phone for an older relative that won't do anything too intensive on it.
