While this phone is acceptable for a new individual trying a smart phone or next step up. This is Perfect for them. This was my second NUU A10 phone purchase. I loved my first one and wanted to replace it with the exact same phone when I cracked the screen. It's easy to use and a good value for its inexpensive price tag. I was excited to open the box and see the identical phone to mine. I had ignored the part of the description that said it was a T mobile phone since it was also advertised and described as "unlocked". Well, I slipped my AT&T SIM into it...and it wouldn't connect to that network, even though it transferred all my apps and settings seamlessly. Obviously, I learned the hard way that "unlocked" is a relative term - I returned the phone for a refund. ... show more

I've had my original phone for 13yrs my carrier advised me that my phone would no longer be compatible with the network. I like to shop around before getting a new phone and still doing research, This phone is good for a pre-teen or senior it has just enough options that will keep a person who doesn't need all the options of a expensive flagship. 2GB Ram/16GB ROM Internal Memory, The Only issue I've had is it disconnects from my car Bluetooth, and I have to do a reset of the phone. If you have kids, this is a great starter phone-for seniors this is a non-complicated for use.... One of the lowest cost phones i've found that has a newer OS (Android 10 Go) and supports Wifi a/b/g/n (2.4/5Ghz) which is exactly what I needed. I also like the modest size (~5.8 x 2.6 in.) compared to other massive phones. Battery lasts longer than other phones with moderate use (~2 days) I'm not using it for phone service, but mainly for apps and I've not seen any lags or hiccups with OS/speed. One issue is that it seemed to power off a couple times when I set it down on a hard surface less than 'roughly' (like dropping it from 1-2 inches) but I may be wrong about that as I cannot reproduce it. After I put the case on it has not happened since. I don't use the cameras so cannot comment on picture quality. Good enough phone for my needs. ... show more

I bought this just to have an Android device to run off of our WiFi as I have an Apple phone but a game I am playing I wanted to be able to access some Android features. This is absolutely an instance of you get what you pay for. It is very slow and clunky. I think the description probably sets up most users for disappointment. It cannot run even very basic programs and games without a ton of lag. If you are looking for just "something" it's fine. If you're wanting to game or do anything that requires a little bit of speed, keep looking. ... show more

Purchased this for my husband to use when he travels for mission trips to developing countries. Took forever to get the back off to just put in the battery so it could be charged. Then my husband and I both tried re-opening the back for the next 4 days in order to put in the SIM card. Could never get it opened again. It's as if it's sealed with heavy adhesive. It is now effectively a brick that we'll never be able to use. Can't return it, as the back cover is scratched from our attempts to open the back. I wish I'd paid more for a better-known manufacturer, so I could have at least used it. Update Jan 28/2023: NUU reached out to me after I wrote this review & offered to repair the phone for me. I explained the issue in detail to them, received the return label & RMA #, and shipped it off. Yesterday, I received an email from the SAME rep who had been in touch with me before I shipped it, and she said, "Your phone turned on without any problem, so I charged it to 100% and am shipping it back to you." Oh, and they're shipping it via the USPS, so it's possible it won't even reach me before the deadline to return to Amazon. DO NOT BUY NUU products! ... show more

I bought the phone to be my personal phone. It performs VERY well plus it has the capability to use dual SIM cards so a person can have two(2) different phone numbers on the phone. I'd recommend this phone without hesitation.

Due to 2 reasons wife and I needed 2 new phones . Boost claimed our phones wouldn't be compatable with their new system and Boost is no longer Spint/T-mobile , now Dish Network . This model connects to 5 of 7 - 4G bands , there are 2 new bands that are less than 2 years old with verizon these don't connect to . Someting i did before getting sim activated caused me to have to call US Mobile and chat with tach support for 2 hours , think it was me ordering phones early and setting them up and ready to go before dropping in activated sim . The phone seems to work well so far . May do an update to this review after 6 months or a year . So far so good . Our old Samsungs lasted 4 years . Maybe these will work long enough for the 5G's to come down to reasonable pricing . ... show more
