I have another one of these wine fridges that I use for wine but I bought this one for a regular drink fridge. I took out a couple shelves and use the upper compartment and bottom for upright storage of cans. The wine racks work great for water bottles and sport drinks. This fridge keeps my drinks cool and refreshing and my regular fridge is no longer taken over by beverages. Whether one uses this for wine or for other beverages, I think people will really like it. I bought it because the profile of was perfect for putting in the space I had. It is just the right height to fit under my counter and the right depth as well. It can be controlled for the perfect temperature for both my red wines and white wines. It has a super cool blue lighting for inside - The lighting gives it a fun and modern look. This fridge has two separate temperature control sections meaning I can keep different wines t different temperature's all within same fridge which i really like as we drink both red and white wine. Holds up to 18 bottles including being able to fit Pinot Noir bottles which can typically be slightly 'wider' than standard bottles. Glass fronted door makes it stylish yet practical and the door is nice and heavy so always closes without much effort and keeps temperature as set. It’s noisy for two minutes. They say don’t put anything on the top but I put six bottles of alcohol to laminate the rattle of the motor. Overall, I like it it’s good price. While building my man cave i though such a fridge would be a great addition. It's large to store enough bottles even for when I have several guests over but it is also slim enough to not take too much space out of my room while adding a modern look. I took a chance with this wine-chilling/beverage chilling fridge and am glad I did. First, I had some questions for the Nutrichef customer support people and they answered my questions and were clear with their answers. That was a great start. The packaging was perfect. They took the packaging seriously so as not to damage the fridge during shipping, yet it was very simple to unpack and dispose of the packing materials. Since I was placing this in my dining room, on hardwood floors, I wanted to protect the floors 'just in case'. I got a thin rubber mat and placed it underneath. I did ask their customer support if that was okay for the fridge and they responded that a mat underneath was fine, but to not have it be very thick so that the bottom air circulation does not get blocked - as in, like a rug or carpet. It was easy to program the temperature. I like that I can have two temperature regions - top with one setting and bottom with another setting. I am quite happy to have wine and bottled iced tea in here and no longer take up space in my real fridge. It has felt quite durable for serious wine/beverage connoisseurs. It is a sleek design, efficient, it doesn't make much noise - especially with a rubberized mat underneath when you have hardwood floors - and it keeps beverages cold.
