Began taking this the day after I gave birth. It’s now been 8 months and my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been. The picture on the left is before I was ever pregnant. I suffered hormonal hair loss after stopping birth control. I was so nervous for postpartum as that can cause hair loss as well from the huge hormonal shift. I started taking it right away and have remained consistent and did not experience significant hair loss. My normal shedding resumed as you don’t shed hair when pregnant but no clumps of hair coming out or bald spots like many women experience after giving birth. My hair is the healthiest, longest and fullest it’s ever been. I highly recommend starting asap and remaining consistent with it to avoid PP hair loss.

’ve been using Nutrafol Postpartum Hair Growth Supplements for three months, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results! As a new mom dealing with postpartum hair shedding, this supplement has been a game-changer. By the second month, I noticed way less hair falling out in the shower and on my brush, and now I’m seeing baby hairs sprouting along my hairline, making my hair look fuller and healthier. The blend of natural ingredients like shatavari, marine collagen, and theanine seems to work wonders, not just for hair but also for stress relief, which is a huge bonus during the postpartum phase. I love that it’s OBGYN-developed, breastfeeding-friendly, and backed by clinical studies—91% of women saw less shedding after two months, and I’m definitely in that camp! That said, there are a few cons. The price is steep at $88 for a month’s supply, though subscribing saves a bit. For the results, I find it worth it, but it’s a big investment. Also, you have to take four large capsules daily, which can be tough if you’re not great with pills—I manage by taking them with breakfast. Lastly, the pills have a slight aquatic smell, probably from the marine collagen and DHA. It’s not bad once you swallow them, but you’ll notice it when opening the bottle. So disappointed in this product... I had my first baby, he is 5 months now. I took nutrafol before I was pregnant and as soon as I gave birth I started taking postpartum nutrafol daily. If you have a baby you know taking vitamins daily is a hard task when they are new but I remembered every day to take them because ive heard of other moms having hair shedding a couple months into postpartum so I figured id get a jump on it. Around 3 months postpartum my hair falls out in hand fulls! I continued to take the vitamins and now he is 5 months and it is obviously not helping. I shed hair all day EVERYWHERE. I have spent SO MUCH MONEY on these very expensive vitamins.... complete waste. I follow mom groups and other moms said to try rosemary shampoo so I will try that.

Hi! I can't believe that a month has gone by since I started using Nutrifol's Postpartum! I Just realised today that this is a significant progress for me. I am almost 6 months postpartum and noticed visible hair thinning at around 3 months post. I had a delay in taking action because (Thanks mom brain!) I also want to say that I am a licensed Integrative beauty professional and that I 100% 10/10 recommend this product to my own friends, family and clients. Additionally, there is an ingredient that, If you are familiar with Ayurveda, there is an herb known as shatavari AKA the queen of herbs. This particular herb is impressive because it is an adaptogen which helps to balance out women's hormones, reduces stress, and stimulates hair growth while nourishing the scalp. If you weren't already familiar with Ayurveda, there's your first lesson to bridge wellness with beauty ;) Cheers!

This supplement does not smell or taste as bad as others I have tried. Of note, the serving size is 4 capsules. They are rather large size. It took me about 2.5-3 months to use them all since it was difficult taking 4 pills daily. It did not cause any nausea or other adverse side effects, but I’m not sure I saw any improvement. It could be that I did not use it long enough. I don’t know if the price justifies continued use, so I’ll probably look for an alternative.

As a disclaimer, I have never had an issue with hair growth in terms of length. My main goal of taking Nutrafol Postpartum was to prevent thinning of my pre-existing hair. My secondary goal was restoration of hair length. Prior to being pregnant, I had fine, wavy, hip-length hair but cut it to shoulder-length while pregnant. I am a first-time mother and I started noticing significant hair loss around three months postpartum. I was left with a hairball every time I washed/brushed/combed it. This in combination with postpartum depression and all of the life changes caused me distress and so I chose Nutrafol Postpartum as it is safe for breastfeeding mothers. I have been taking it consistently for a little over five months and am happy to share that not only did Nutrafol Postpartum mitigate the shedding, it has also visibly thickened my hair at the scalp, minimized breakage while brushing, and added roughly six inches of length. I did not drastically change my diet nor lifestyle in order to achieve this, and I plan to continue my Nutrafol journey for the unforeseen future. I highly recommend this product to any mother that is hoping to regain their spark and self-esteem after having a baby.

I bought this because of postpartum shedding and it transformed my hair in the best way! Within a month my hair stopped shedding and I started to see luster return. About two months later my hair length improved and so did the fullness of my hair. A full three months later and now my edges are growing back and I feel so much more confident! Worth the price and easy to take. Doesn’t taste funny or smell weird. I also appreciate that the capsules didn’t come broken, but stayed intact and powder wasn’t everywhere in the bag.
