This organizer is pretty sturdy, however putting it together was very difficult the directions are not very clear . It was easy getting the support bar up but after that the directions are very confusing. We also got down to the last drawer and were missing screws to finish so it took another 5 days for them to ship the screws to us.

I rarely write reviews, and in my world I am a fairly well known guy, and I like to keep quiet. However, I like putting things together, like classic cars, and after our house suffered water damage from a frozen water pipe, my closet was wrecked and it had to be gutted to the studs and started over. That took awhile and then I was looking for the closet organizer, and I wanted to put it together myself. I finally decided on the tower storage unit, and I wanted to fill in the 8 ft wide wall and it does that nicely. The unit arrives in 4 large boxes and make sure there is no damage. They provide additional hardware like screws etc.., and it came in handy. You have the ability to customize the unit a bit. The company is located in the US and the product is manufactured in China. The quality is quite good, for a do-it-yourself project. But, the instructions could be better and read them over several times. Break down the project into small sections. I decided to put the drawers together first and you need a large flat area to do this. There is gluing involved, and even though the kit provides glue packets, I recommend that you purchase some good wood glue and you will have enough. I had some handy already. After that, I started laying out the bracket that holds up the structure on the wall. It uses gravity, in a sense, and it is a neat idea. You will need a stud detector and you really need to take your time with the measurements and planning. You also need to make everything level. I like everything perfect, so I took quite a bit of time, and the finished product shows it. After you get the brackets installed, you can start hanging the pieces and start putting it together. With my closet, I have about 1 inch clearance left over at each end. It was a perfect fit. The drawers, have ball-bearing slides and take your time to cut out the templates and orient them carefully. I made sure the drawers are perfectly level. You don't want your socks crammed over to one side, (loi). After that you can finish out the details and tweak everything else., like figuring out where you want the rods. The kit was well thought out and I was able to put this together and install it by myself with no help at all. There is bad news to this install though. My wife has looked this over, and now she wants her closet completely done and its bigger than mine. All I need, more work. I would buy another kit from this company. I did not require any support help either. I hope this helps and sorry that it is long.

This item was shipped through FEDEX in 4 seperate packages over a 2-5 day period after I purchased. The first 2 boxes showed up damaged and open. I watched the FEDEX driver pull a heavy box off the truck and half the parts fell out of the box on the road. He picked them up slid them back in the box and placed on my front porch. Next day second package arrived with 3 missing wardrobe rods and third day the last package arrived. My husband assembled everything he could as it arrived but the organizer is unusable at the moment because we are waiting on missing wardrobe rods. The company selling has responded quickly to our repeated emails and is working with us to get the missing parts to us. I love the look of it but believe this organizer is far to expensive to be miss handled during shipment and damaged with parts missing when you finally receive it. Disappointed to say the least in the process. Order at your own risk.

Delivery and packaging in top shape, very minor defects. Directions adequate "could be simplified". Highly recommend using screws @ all (3) top shelfs, this will require to lower the center top shelf about 4"-6" and the left and right top shelfs to the top pre-drilled holes " this will not give you a flush mount at the top " Be sure to install self-tapping screws at the bottom of the cloth's rods " this will require predrill holes with a metal bit. Also added 1"x4" below lower drawer cut to fit, screwed into stud/frame, predrill holes @ side supports and screwed in for a sturdier finish product. Works great for our guest room overall, very satisfied. Dennis Centurion Maintenance.

I like the finished product but the overall quality isn't great. I had several drawers that broke during assembly despite gentle handling. Customer service was terrific and they supplied many more parts than I needed to replace broken ones (now I have five new drawers that I will never use). Assembly isn't difficult provided studs line up with the holes in the rail that supports the unit. If you live in an old home, your in-wall framing is probably more accurate than mine was (making attachment of the rail much easier). I have to say that the molly bolts provided by the manufacturer are junk. None of the molly's I used held. Fortunately, I was able to double or triple up screws into supporting studs I was able to hit.

I thought the instructions along with the video on this site made it fairly simple. Once you get the brackets secured to the wall it is downhill from there. I bought two, one for each side of the walk in closet. It really gives the closet a very finished professional look.
