Description

NUK Smooth Flow Bottles are the anti-colic solution for bottle feeding, featuring a unique nipple design that allows baby to control the flow rate for colic-free feeding. This newborn gift set includes: two 5-oz bottles with slow flow nipples and two 10-oz bottles with medium flow nipples; 3 NUK orthodontic silicone pacifiers; Learner Cup transition kit; and 2 fast flow nipples. This Smooth Flow bottle nipple adjusts the flow based on how your baby drinks, adapting to their suction strength to ensure they will always have the right flow rate. The SafeTemp temperature indicator lets you know when milk is too hot with just a glance. The blue thermometer indicator fades when milk is too hot and reappears when milk has cooled and is safe to drink. The two-piece Learner Cup transition kit includes a soft spout and handles, to easily transform your 5 oz bottle into a sippy cup when your child is ready.

Always my go-to brand for use & gifting. I would recommend NUK to any parent. Always quality made, the nipple shape seems to agree with most children. Variable flows, very little to-no leaks, easily cleanable shape, cute prints & I love the heat sensor on the side of the bottles!! It is a must for those half awake, three am feedings. Big plus!! There is a little notch on the rim that aligns with the nipple, it allows for the air to pass like a little check-valve, to help reduce cholic... without all the fancy gadgets & extra items to clean that other brands offer. Our son has a problem bottle feeding. He has a short tongue which essentially means he has a tongue tie that can’t be fixed and requires a longer nipple. We wanted to breast feed, but due to latching problems and I just can’t produce via pumping, we had to go with bottle feeding. He requires a longer nipple and these do the trick. I’m not fond of how easily the milk comes out and he gets overwhelmed at the beginning of feedings, but once he finds his rhythm, these bottles are great. I’m very fond of the nuk bottles. The designs are cute, and they are affordable. I like that these are easy to clean, and seem to flow as they should. The size is as stated, the ounce scale seems to be accurate to. These are a safe bet just make sure you keep an eye on the nipple hole and over all condition of the nipple to keep your baby safe.
