I am a Pooh lover and find this sippy cup to be quite cute and for a sippy cup it does its job very well (although my baby seems to be fine with any sippy cup I've given him). I use this sippy cup all the time AT HOME. I realized the difficult way that this sippy cup wasn't made for going out, the reason being is that with the sippy cup handles the sippy cup doesn't fit in any of the cup holders, not even the ones in the car let alone the ones on the stroller! So unless your baby knows how to hold onto that cup you will be picking it up off the floor a lot. I however do like the fact that the handles are easily removable since they simply detach from the bottom, which I did try to do the first time I went out with my baby and this sippy cup- I found that my baby held onto it even less without the handles so there was no point in removing them, and if I removed the handles and put the sippy cup in the cup holder infront of him in the stroller he would just want the sippy cup back which meant repeatedly putting on and taking off the handles- this got old very quickly. In terms of sturdiness, it is very sturdy. It's made of bpa-free plastic and doesn't leak when held upside down, although babies do alot more than just hold it upside down so you're bound to get a few wet spots here and there but nothing major. My baby at 8 months old is also teething, he has one bottom teeth and others coming in, he likes to teeth on the sippy cup spout and the spout has yet to show any wear.

After being given (new mom) several different sippy cups as gifts I have thrown most of them away {or I curse every time we use them as they require perfect alignment of parts or the leak the liquid contents} ... this one is a hands-down winner for me ... and I bought already at least 5 of them as I started giving them as baby shower gift ever since then. Good price, plentiful design. But most of all, you can assemble it without looking, no worries about alignment of miscellaneous parts. Also important is that the material of the nozzle resembles that of a milk bottle so moving your baby from the "bottle" to this sippycup is so natural it won't even notice. Some of the sippy cups have so huge nozzles that the tiny baby cannot squeeze it properly yet to take a sip. The size is just right, anything bigger and the baby won't be able to lift it up. The two handles are great for ease of operation of the baby since their motorical skills are just developing. Very important: beware of fancy shapes. Remember, you have to wash the milk or juice that is left from the bottom. This one with relatively straight sides has no hidden hard to reach crevices which are hard to reach even with brush [which you don't need for this one] or you will worry about old stuff rotting there. And the best: after 2 years of use [kiddo almost 2.5] the cup is still going strong, he still loves it and despite of his gnawing hobby the cup is still quite usable [read: sturdy design]. Conclusion: 5 stars minimum

The cup is cute and the handles are nice, but my 7-month-old great-nephew gets really frustrated because he can't get water out. He sucks so hard his cheeks draw in, but gets very little water. I'm afraid I'm going to have to make a bigger hole, which defeats the leak-proof purpose for sure. I don't know if it's because he is breastfed and isn't used to a bottle, but this is something those caring for breastfed babies might want to take into consideration. If you do a search of the 3-star ratings, you'll notice a lot of people mentioning this issue.

This is my 12-month-old daughter's favorite sippy cup. We tried out a few different types before we got to this one, but this one seems to be perfect for her right now. It took her a little bit to figure out how to get water from it but within a few days she had it figured out. She's been using this for three or four months now and it's still in good shape. She does bite on the silicone spout at times but not so much that I worry about her biting it off. I also inspect the spout regularly to make sure it's not damaged from the biting. This doesn't spill when it's dropped (and believe me, she went through a phase where she would drop this over and over and over to see if Mommy and Daddy would pick it up and give it back to her. It was great fun. For her.) I haven't had any of the problems other reviewers mentioned. She gets plenty of water from this cup and can drink half the cup in a minute or so. We wash these in our dishwasher in a basket on the top shelf and haven't had any problems with mold. It's a great cup for us--and please remember that every baby is different and what works for one baby might not work for another. **Last thing--WHY is this described as "boy" cup? Because it's blue? Because there are cars on it? Come ON, NUK. That's unnecessary.**
