Worth it!! So glad we went with the nugget rather than a dupe. It’s really high quality and my daughters (7 & 3 - wish I got sooner!) are obsessed! It’s been hands down the most played with item in our home. They like to pretend it’s a stage, a fort, a slide & climb all over it in all formations. I love that there aren’t a ton of pieces to clean up, and love that it encourages imaginative and active play. We’ve seen plenty of dupes in friends homes, but I don’t mind paying a bit more for nugget quality and a company that has values that align with our own. Trust me- it’s worth every penny. The construction is of high quality both the material and the foam. What I really like is that the foam is not too hard and not too soft. The color we chose is Bamboo. I love it better than the picture online. When we openned the box, I suppose I should have been aware that the packaging would expand very quickly, very, very quickly, that was a surprise. All is good after that. My grandson loves this, it is functional and exactly what we needed. It was recommended by his OT.

We bought the Nugget and one cheap knockoff set. The Nugget is BY FAR better quality and what I would recommend. It's thicker. Sturdier. Better cushioning for jumping(so safer). And just plain builds better. Why 4 stars? Because there absolutely should be at least one more double wide piece to build. You almost want 2 sets to start making really cool stuff and then the investment becomes a bit obnoxious. So we bought a cheap set for $80 that had 3 times as many pieces to supplement the real deal. You shouldn't have to do that to get an optimal experience from a product. 1 set works, but a bit more included would be better.

We absolutely love our original nugget play couch! We got it for my daughter’s first Christmas present. She used this as a safe and soft tool to learn how to pull up, stand independently, climb up, and climb down. We like the tent conversion during playtime, but mostly leave it as a couch in front of our window so she can climb up and look out independently. We love that the cushions are connected and don’t move apart, like some of the cheaper options on the market. This makes it much safer when they are climbing or building a tent/fort. The fabric and cushions are soft, so if you do have a fall, it is a safe surface. I wish we would have gotten it sooner when she was learning to sit up independently when we would have the occasional fall. We love the sand dune color for a clean, neutral look in her playroom. You can unzip the covers if you ever need to wash it in the washing machine. Great first birthday or Christmas present! Highly recommend!
