The Scotch, Whisky glasses are pretty and the correct size. Good addition to bar glasses. Of course they are not the real crystal glasses, but a good addition if needed, or if used on a regular basis. I did return them as we didn’t really need them.. Ended up having enough for party we had. Pretty though.

The shape of these glasses, a hex (I think?), lends itself to being held for long periods and occasionally used for dramatic punctuation during a heated philosophical debate or Scrabble challenge rebuttal. They don’t have a lip, which I can’t really decide whether I like or not…sometimes, I find it stylistically excellent in keeping a Nuevo modern feel to these while other times I feel like it causes me to dribble whiskey down my chin when I quaff with a bit too much enthusiasm. Regardless, I think that’s a matter of personal choice and not a design flaw. This is dually reinforced by the fact that I think there are no design flaws in these glasses. They possess the proper clarity, depth, and gravitas that one hopes for in anything remotely connected to the soul, even if it is just a vessel for the loquacious liquor that leads one down that particular path to barrel-aged enlightenment. Needless to say, I highly recommend them, for yourself and anyone else in your life who loves a good tipple or a good glass or a good tipple in a good glass.

With all the weight, sparkle, and clarity - but none of the lead - of classic leaded crystal, my wife and I love our NUDE Hemingway Lead-free Crystal Scotch Glasses. We use them most often for non-alcoholic beverages like orange or tomato juice or ginger ale and other soft drinks, but no matter what we put in them, they add a touch of class to our table. With a capacity of one cup (eight ounces) we find them perfect for casual use, though we really like their rather formal appearance. When friends visit, these are the glasses we use. Our NUDE Hemingway Lead-free Crystal Scotch Glasses came in a giftable box, and the fact that we can clean these in our dishwasher is a real plus. These glasses look great on our open shelf, but they're not up there often because we use them almost every day. We're delighted with these glasses and love showing them off.
