The ceramic dessert/salad plates are terrific -- better than expected. Heavy, durable with a great look. They are eight-inch plates so I might start using them as my regular plates since there isn't a big difference in the size of a traditional plate. I appreciate the edge all around the plate that prevents food from sliding, slipping, or rolling off the plate. It's nifty that food can be scooped against the high edge. The plates remind me a little of an old-fashioned diner plate, which gives the set of six a personality of their own. The speckles are subtle which offers a unique presentation.

I was looking for medium size plates for everyday meal. I had big plates that can have steak, salad, and mash potato all together and small dessert plates. This plates are exactly what I was looking for. It is made with ceramic and it feels nice. It is glossy glazed on top and the bottom has area that is not glazed so it’s not slippery. Also it was wrapped really well in nice box.

I absolutely love these plates. They are the perfect size for snacks/desserts or a sandwich. The lip keeps things from slipping off and they stack perfectly for storage. They are heavy and clearly very well made and the color is stylish; I have received a lot of compliments on them already. The price is also very reasonable for this set, the fact that they are microwave and dishwasher safe is even better. I think they are the perfect addition to any kitchen.

I really love these plates so far. The 8 inch is a good size for lunch, dessert, snacks, or a portion control dinner. I love the look and the small edge around them is great. My favorite feature is how tightly they stack because they don't take up any more space in the cupboard than they have to.

These plates are thick and substantial. The raised rim edges are great for keep food in place (im using these for my kids lol). Dishwasher safe, pretty and seem like they won't chip easily. Overall good value and I recommend this product.
