Its really good, but its not a Pixel.

Review Image by codename.jv codename.jv
I am biased. My one selling point is the PURE Android experience (the software). I am not a fan of the modified versions of Android (i.e. Samsung, OnePlus, Motorola, Sony, to name a few). Having said this, this phone is pretty great. It comes really close to the PURE Android experience - look and feel. There are about three apps that can't be uninstalled/disabled (clock, App Safe, Switch Phone) . I've been using it with T-Mobile for about a week. So far, the signal has been good. The call quality is a bit sloppy (fades in and out), but the data is good. I disabled 5G to get a constant LTE signal. The cameras are TOP NOTCH. The quality is great, and it even has an XPAN mode like the OnePlus that allows you to shoot photos in 35mm. The full resolution photos (64MP, 50MP) don't look any better than the 12mp photos. There are a few quirks that need to be ironed out - Lock Screen text color (clock/date), some of the widgets don't work (i.e. youtube music player), Android Auto won't auto-start playing music - and you cant control music from your car screen until you open YouTube Music on your phone to kick it off. I LOVE that it has DTS audio instead of Dolby Atmos. Its really nice to get real full audio on all speakers with that bass kick. Video is great - but I block the sound with my hands. Lol. Headphones works. Its a steal for the price considering the specks you get. 16gb RAM/512gb storage - its pretty great. ... show more

Great Phone But...
Color: Black Size: 12GB+256GB
The phone is an absolute beast for the price. Feels great in the hand, the display looks gorgeous especially with the (UDC). Battery life is exceptional and turbo charging is lighting fast. Speaker quality is ok nothing to brag about but i blame that on the top speaker audio coming from earpiece instead of a seperate dedicated grill on the top like other phones. The only thing im having an issue with that hopefully gets fixed with an update because it software related , is when i restart the phone some settings return to default. For example i change my screen timeout to 1min but when i restart the phone it goes back to 15sec. The same can be said for app location settings and screen rotation settings, even my mobile data turns off. they go back to default or turn itself off entirely and i have to go back and switch everything on again. ... show more

good phone
Color: Black Size: 16GB+512GB
A true full screen, the screen color is vivid and bright, but the color of the bottom plate is light gray-blue. I like the light reddish warm color, but it is still very good. The camera and video are really good. The video stability is really good, and the photos are clear. Although not the clearest, it is also very good. The system is not very compatible with some old software. Some of them cannot be installed directly, and some cannot be run even if they are installed. However, there is no problem with the new software. A few that have not been updated may not run, but at this price, it is also a very good phone worth buying. ... show more

Professional Reviewers Aren't Always Right!
Color: Silver Size: 16GB+512GB
UPDATE: I reduced the number from 5 to 4 because I'm starting to notice this phone has connection issues, particularly with the "link to Windows" app. I have to redo the connection from scratch before it will connect, and then it only lasts for a couple of days before it loses connection again with the app! Changing the battery settings fixed many of these issues. I'll watch it. ************************************************************************************************************************ Based on many reviews, the consensus is that this phone is average. Most reviews focused on gaming and cameras. What was absent was what this phone does for normal people on a normal day, during normal use. Besides making movies and gaming, what other functions does the phone have for us regular users? The answer is, that this phone does everything incredibly great! Normally, I have 38GB to 40GB of information, photos, and data on my phone, and most phones, even high-end or flagship phones, take 20 to 30 minutes to transfer information from one phone to another. So I purchased a high-speed USB cable, and when I transferred information from my other phone to this phone, I was able to transfer 40 GB of data in just 3 minutes. Not every phone, even many flagship phones (something they don't tell you), can use high-speed USB cables which most people are not aware of. This one does! As for gaming, this phone hangs out or runs circles around the rest, even dedicated gaming phones. When it comes to photography, this phone performs just as well as the top contenders, and even surpasses them in some aspects, especially for non-professionals. The battery life is fantastic. I have never seen a phone like this for everyday things. The many tweaks can give you a headache, but even the most expensive flagship phones lack these types of adjustments. According to a review, they compared this phone to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the scores ended up dead even. Although it may have some shortcomings compared to the iPhone, it compensates with other strengths. And the things that it lacked (according to the review) were minor, so minor that the average person wouldn't even notice. Things like, the iPhone display has 32 more pixels per inch than this phone. So far, I am pleased with this phone. Here's something for some people to consider as well. I am a diabetic and I use a CGM. That device is called a "constant glucose monitor." Many phones cannot read such sensors, but for diabetics like myself, it is required and extremely necessary. Not only did this phone read the CGM, it read the CGM that was installed with my other phone, which normally does not happen. Normally if you scan your CGM with another phone other than the one that activated the sensor, it will not read and it will tell you that you started this sensor with another phone, yet this phone actually read it! That impressed the hell out of me! I, too, own a Honda and occasionally face challenges using the hands-free link, but with this phone it's not a problem. In summary, I have nothing but positive things to say about this phone and I have discovered no issues with it so far. ... show more

Best phone for the price
Color: Black Size: 12GB+256GB
I don't game or do anything crazy on my phone but this is honestly the best bang for the buck I could find. Love full screen content without a notch or hole punch distracting me.
