Feels very solid, looks great. Have to take the company's word for it that it's relatively shock proof--I'm not going to *try* to test that. The sides have a stippled part, so my grip on the phone when I'm using a different hand to type is fine. The problem is that, as others have said, the back is slippery. So if I hold it in one hand and type with the thumb of that hand, there's always a risk that it will slip. I need something to make the back less slippery. I ended up ordering some grip tape stickers for the phone. That doubles or triples the price of using this case. I still like it, though, but this additional cost for one-handed use is something to keep in mind. (It would be nice if they added some stippling on the back as well. I don't know whether that would interfere with chargers; I charge with a cable.) ... show more

My phone survived a huge drop with this case. It is sturdy, and made of durable materials. Some cases are quite difficult to snap on but this one was easy and remains snug, even after my recent phone drop. It feels sturdy, and for me that is a plut. I would buy it again.

It covers all corners and the teal blue is beautiful! My perfect XR iPhone will remain perfect with this case. I love the teal blue cover it makes it look so updated. The texture of the material feels good in your hand. No slip! It’s like an otter case without all the bulk. The blue is usually out of stock but the shipping was fast the seller does their best keeping the teal blue available.
