Quality vegetarian-friendly capsules. I like that these are from GMO-free sunflower lecithin rather than soy lecithin as some brands of soy lecithin, specifically, have had issues with having close to or exceeding the safe limit for lead. So I feel much better taking these knowing that. Only complaint is they aren't certified organic and sourced from organic sunflower. That would be really great. I've had good experiences using NOW Foods' products. These phosphatidylserine capsules are great especially for the price. No unpleasant taste or odor. No broken capsules or powder everywhere inside the bottle. I take NOW Foods' sunflower lecithin powder every day as well as their 500mg organic Lion's Mane mushroom. I don't notice the effects as much because I already take sunflower lecithin and get some PS. Had I not taken been on lecithin the effects would be more pronounced I think. I take sunflower lecithin for choline and other phospholipids as I don't get much from my diet. This phosphatidylserine and the sunflower lecithin help improve my ability to dream and get a full deep sleep regularly. Makes dreaming happen much more frequently, more vivid and memorable which also seems to make me feel more refreshed. I don't notice any pain relief but I'm not in any pain so there's none to relieve. I take it usually mid-day and haven't noticed any energy changes though I didn't even know that was a potential benefit so I wasn't looking for it. Looking back I have been feeling less tired in the afternoon and evening so it may be from the PS. No side effects or anything. Highly recommend if this is something you need or might benefit from and your doctor says it's ok. That's very important as supplements can interact with medications and foods. Great to manage cortisol especially if you run/exercise at night and have trouble sleeping. Bought it because of the cognitive benefits, but this is only my second day can't really notice much of a difference apart from a more relaxed demeanor. No sides

I really like NOW Foods Supplements brand. I often search for their version of a supplement before other brands. They are generally a very good price point, don't have carrier/filler ingredients that don't work for me and often have concentrated extracts/forms available of supplements and herbs as well as whole herb versions. I wanted PPS to help support brain health/cognition, to help with brain fog; and to help give an extra boost to sleeping through the night when I've gotten on poor sleep maintenance (staying asleep through the night) track or if I'm traveling, whether changing time zones or not.
