I don’t normally write reviews. My daughter had back surgery and I needed a more firm mattress quickly. I researched many and decided to go with Novilla. What a great choice. We have all had back surgery’s and immediately post op my daughter was as comfortable as she could be on this mattress. The only negative is there isn’t a lot of support sitting on the edge of the bed but u still can and aren’t falling off. This is the PERFECT mattress for children or adults looking for a reasonably priced mattress and a comfortable mattress. It is slightly firm but no hip pain laying on side. It seems like it would be a great mattress for all those who like a moderately firm to firm feel. It shipped quickly. Expanded quickly and evenly. No chemical smells or mold. We wanted to upgrade our mattress since we have a toddler who sleeps in bed with us. We use it directly on the floor with slats on the bottom to avoid locking in moisture. This definitely feels more on the firm side rather than medium firm, which we’re okay with. We’re combination sleepers but this mattress works for us. The edges does feel a little to flimsy/lacks support but it’s not really an issue for us. We slept on first night we got this delivered and it wasn’t too bad - expanded right away. Toddler slept really well & idk if it’s the mattress but he slept on his back all night which we love (he usually ends up twists and turning in bed trying to find his position) As for us, It’s just right, it’s firm but comfortable (we weigh 100-150lbs) The only issue we have with it is that it’s reaaaallly heavy! We’re at the second floor & needed to have 3 person to carry it since delivery person left it. So far so good! I’ll try to update my review after a month or two to see if it holds up. ... show more

Mattress is quite heavy so does need two people to move it which would be significantly easier if handles were sewn into the sides. I left my mattress out for 72 hours as suggested by manufacturer to “breathe”, and (hopefully) expand to 12 inches as stated yet it only measured 11 inches total. Truly this should be taken into account with the advertising. It is firm yet soft but do try to stay closer to the middle to prevent the feeling of falling off the edge. ... show more

Did alot of research on mattresses in boxes and decided on this one in Queen. It was delivered on time. We took it into my grandson's bedroom since he is away at college. My husband started cutting the plastic wrap and it burst open. Quite a surprise but only knocked a few things off his shelves. Lol Looked like it was ready for the bed in no time but we waited 72 hours before we put it on our bed. It is so pretty and exactly 12 inches. Very impressed with this mattress. It says medium firm and it feels just that. My other mattress was old and sagging. I always liked a fairly firm mattress and this is it. I can sit on the side and it doesn't make me slide off as some say, but I only weigh 110 lbs. My husband likes it too. Some reviews said it had a smell, but this one had none whatsoever.
