I currently own seven inflatable paddle boards across different brands, and five of those are from iTaostar. After buying my first one, I was so impressed with the quality that I added four more from them. Compared to other “off brand” boards I have tried, iTaostar’s build is massively better, approaching the durability of big name models that cost two to three times as much. Durability: Other boards I have owned have lasted anywhere from one to three years. With kids, dogs, and heavy loads (such as a 120 pound ice chest plus me and a seven year old), we put them through tough use. The iTaostar boards are the only “off brand” ones I trust to hold up. They are simply designed better. I did dock a star for one design choice: the oar holder. It is just a glued on patch rather than sewn in like the other D rings, so it can break off in the heat if the oar catches. You can super glue it back on or just leave it off. Honestly, most boards do not even have this feature, and slipping the oar under the bungees works fine. Stability: The extra 35 inch width makes a huge difference. I regularly strap a Canyon cooler to the back with cam straps, and it stays secure while still allowing me to open the lid. That setup lets me carry water, lunch, and other supplies for the group without compromising balance. It is epic. Accessories: The included inflatable seat is more comfortable than most, thanks to sewn in D rings instead of glued patches that rip off easily. Still, I do not personally use seats on paddle boards since they limit fore aft movement. The included flag is unnecessary in my opinion, so I leave it off. The front GoPro mount is a bit loose, which initially felt like a flaw, but on the water it actually helped stabilize my phone when mounted with a RAM ball and snap on case. Just make sure to tether your gear. I always use a lanyard attachment for backup. Color: This version’s color is gorgeous. I also own a camo topography model that is six inches longer and another in a jungle mountain view design. In fact, three of my five iTaostar boards are this exact model in different color schemes. They look fantastic and we get compliments on them every time we are out. For this review, I included a photo of one of the other color variants since the boards are identical aside from appearance. Overall: iTaostar boards continue to impress me. My first one is going strong after four years at a third of the cost of my high end board, which itself has lasted five years. Cheaper boards in the $150 to $200 range rarely make it past two seasons in my experience. Unless these start failing at the five year mark while my premium board keeps going another decade, the value here is undeniable. With five iTaostar boards now in rotation, I think that speaks for itself. I have never had any issues with any of them losing air.

It’s BEAUTIFUL!! But… to show the fancy design it lacks the normal foam padding and instead only has little raised dots to help with grip and stability. It’s *very slippery.* Highly recommend wearing a performance water sandal or adding aftermarket foam stickers, unless you plan to only ever use sitting. Most disappointing is that the design seems to flake off pretty easily. I’ve used my board exactly 5 times so far and I am already losing bits of the design. The extra long length is nice and allows me to carry quite a bit of gear and still lay on the board for a rest. It’s very rigid and a great float! Heavier than other boards but I guess that’s from the increased size. I really like that the included backpack is large enough to fit the board and extra accessories, I’m not trying to squeeze it in like with some boards.
