  • Great video of NASA's next great space telescope!
I enjoy watching episodes of NOVA. The producers of this program do a wonderful job of presenting science with first-hand interviews and amazing, cutting-edge graphics. This video about the James Webb Space Telescope is another homerun from NOVA. Five (exploding supernova) stars!

  • A most fascinating history of the technical, delicate construction design.
I enjoyed the walk through description of the challenges making the James Web Telescope and how everything went through according to plan. This is a noteworthy addition to man's knowledge of our beautiful and mysterious universe.

  • Not 3d, and not a whole lot of space pics
Very interesting documentary on the building of the telescope, but sadly no pictures of space to speak of, and definitely a disappointed it is not 3D (like the iMax Hubble video - our favorite). Worth having in the DVD library, anyway.

  • Done poorly.
The subject matter was just excellent, but for me, was ruined by too many scientists speaking; one after the another. Yes, there was a good narrator, but too much interruption by the scientists who, of many, didn't speak well enough for me to understand. I'm also returning another DVD that had the same problem!! If NOVA is going this route, I'm through with them forever. ... show more
