I have an elderly dog that unfortunately mistakes indoors for outdoors often. So I can’t have nice rugs in my home. Wouldn’t you know the very first day I lay out this rug, she decides to test it out. It cleaned up beautifully. The very last picture I posted is the morning after I cleaned it up. I am extremely upset with the quality of this rug. I purchased it because it was listed as an outdoor rug, and loved the terra cotta color. After 1.5 months, our rug is now yellow/light orange even though it has been under a shade with no direct sunlight. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. I contacted both Amazon and the company that makes the rug, and neither are willing to return or replace. Amazon said it wasnt their problem. The rug company just did not respond my inquiry. I thought this rug was a steal when I bought it and the good reviews convinced me that it wasn’t much of a risk. I’m so glad returns are easy on Amazon (even for bulky items like rugs). This rug looked okay when we first unrolled it. It laid flat pretty well which was a plus. It’s very thin and mostly just an accent piece rather than anything comfortable or beautiful on its own. I chose this rug primarily because I needed a decorative rug I thought an indoor/outdoor one would be easier to keep clean with a cat that tends to vomit a lot. I was wrong! This rug began to show signs of wear in just a few weeks. We treated it very carefully, the cat didn’t throw up on it, and yet it started to look worn in the areas around the edge where we tended to walk. The last straw was when I noticed the rug starting to actually fray. This should not be happening with careful use in a matter of weeks. I went ahead and purchased a pricier rug known for its quality, which will last me much longer than this one did. Tldr; do not buy. Spend a little extra on something that will last. ... show more

I wouldn't say it is soft, but softness was not what I was after. Color was like photo. Wrinkles shown in photo fell out after a day or two. This rug is fairly thin but seems durable and isn’t scratchy on your feet at all. It dries quickly, though I have it on a covered porch and it only gets partially wet in that location. Great value!
