Not a bad carpet but it's not even at the ends, very uneven to be fair. It's a bit thinner than I expected too and I bought another, smaller carpet from this same company thinking it would be the same color as this green but it's about 2 shades darker so no matchy-match. For the longest time, I had one of those shag rugs that kept shedding! I was so fed up with vacuuming it. And washing or cleaning it made it feel not as soft anymore. But I refused to toss it out because it was $450. I finally gave in and ordered this one to replace the shaggy one. So glad that I did. This was so cheap and it ended up looking really nice in my living room! It was well made and light enough for me to lug around by myself. After unrolling, the corners tend to curl up. I resolved this by putting heavy objects like an ottoman, a laundry detergent bottle, boxes at each corner for a day. After that, it's been sitting nicely flat on the ground. Doesn't slide around where I need those rug grippers. But it might also be because I have a coffee table in the center. It isn't soft, but not rough. This was perfect in front of my French doors. It is the right size for this space and I love the neutral color. Texture is soft but not super thick. No weird smell when I opened the package. It stays in place well. Would purchase this rug again.

We initially unrolled it and looked like it had uneven pile. It just needed about 10 vacuums to pop up the compressed pile. Great pop of color for a low price.
