It's worked pretty good. My hair started thinning due to weight loss and hormone changes. I saw less fall out and my hair was thicker and looked healthier after just a few weeks of using it. My stylist even commented on how much new hair growth she was seeing. I tried another shampoo that was highly rated when I finished up the Vitamins but it didn't work anywhere near as well. I would definitely recommend trying it.

In 2015, I had a hysterectomy which left me with a hormone in-balance a few years later . Not being ready to hang up my youth, I was having major physical changes- hair loss in particular. My youthful soul wasn’t going to give up. So I made the decision to get my hair back knowing this was going to be a life choice. My story; One day I was in the grocery store and saw many women my age ( 52) doing thier shopping. I looked at their hair; Most looked dry, thin and lacked body. When I got home I looked at my own hair; in the mirror I saw my hair as dry , thinning and had no body. Being determined to “not be”...old etc ( self esteem issues) .., I began reading about many products and compared before I decided. I choose “Vitamins” because it seemed the company was more interested in restoring, personal confidence( hair loss due to medical conditions) more so than anyone else. I’ve been using the product (shampoo and conditioner) for about 4 weeks and I can already see thicker, softer, stronger, baldness with fuzziness- my gosh It’s growing! My hair is really growing! I’m in love with my hair. I highly recommend for women over 50 who want to have noticeable beautiful hair; I believe that you will see a wonderful difference and judgmental friends will too. My first time order just arrived and I am disappointed. The product contains fragrance/perfume (known hormone disruptor and cause of disease.) for a product that is trying to HELP with hair loss to include a hormone disruptor is irresponsible. Thus could have been entirely left out of the formulation. Also ordered the brand’s hair supplements. They contain folic acid which is detrimental for those with MTHFR. Will have to throw shampoo, conditioner and supplements away. True waste of money. (I blame myself for not verifying use of folic acid.)

I have waited over two months before posting a review on these products (Vitamins Shampoo and Vitamins Conditioner) that I have been using since June 8, 2016. These products are probably the best I have ever used and I've used a lot of different products (I'm in my mid-sixties so that's a lot of years to use different products!). The shampoo lathers up great....just enough....not under or over--because either is annoying. I leave it on for about 3 minutes when showering, rinse, then apply the conditioner for about two minutes and rinse--both rinse out easily and there's no sticky feeling afterwards. I do have to say that after the conditioner has been applied for about 30 seconds, a fragrance is emitted that is different from the smell of the conditioner when it's in the bottle, but then the fragrance goes away almost as soon as it's noticed. I'm not sure what, if anything, that means or does, but it doesn't bother me or affect what I think about the end results. I style with a blow dryer and brush which smooths out my (straight) hair and adds some shine, but the products really add a lot of shine so my hair looks very healthy. And I have it colored every 5 weeks! Regarding hair growth, I have seen a little new hair growth in the two thinnest areas which are around my temples. "A little" may not sound like very much, but when you're hair is thinning, it says a lot to at least not be losing it anymore!

I’ve just received and used this duo once, so I can’t attest to its hair strengthening or growth powers yet. I can, however, say what it doesn’t do according to some other reviews. It doesn’t have a strong scent. In fact, it’s milder than any hair product I’ve ever tried (a LOT!), it doesn’t tangle my wet hair, and I was able to dry normally. recommended to me by someone who had used it with great results after surgery which required partial shaving of her head. I know we all have different systems and hair types, but I’m hoping this will help the sudden thinning I have at the crown of my head. This product line is pricey, but I’ll give it a fair shot and see what it does. Hopefully it will be worth the money spent. Update: My hair got worse day by day after the first use, felt very dry and natural curl was comprised. I lost more hair in the next washing than before I used it the one time. Won’t be using again.
