Fast, colorful screen so my apps run quick and beautiful. The os is a breath of fresh air. Almost too many options. The glyph interface on the back separates the 4a pro from other phones with functionality and personality. Essential button has a lot of options including voice recording and transcription. Very loud speakers too. I am looking forward to the enhanced audio options once I get headphones with spatial audio and advanced audio codex support. This phone is sleek and useful! I'd say this phone is on par with the Samsung variants, maybe just a tad better. There's a learning curve to some of their software, but I'm not really interested in that aspect of the phone, so it doesn't bother me. The camera is REALLY GOOD! The overall sound is pretty impressive as well (YouTube, VLC and Twitch were used)! Some notable things about this phone: •Minimal Nothingphone bloat, easily hireable or can uninstall... •Battery life was 2.5 days with some moderate usage. •The screen is BRIGHT, even when turned down to 50% or so. •Swipe works perfectly, and the predictive text is usually correct. •I haven't found an otterbox style case for this phone yet, but it comes with a case - so win! Phone case is slightly thin, but it's easy to grip while using the device. •It's a pretty light phone. •Verizon connectivity is possible AND DOES work, but it isn't the best. I'm using a physical SIM card. •I am also using a Samsung Watch 7, and even though this watch is connected to my nothingphone, it shows as I left my phone behind (even if I'm actively using the phone while wearing the watch) •No issue with OEM Unlocking AFAIK, this phone can be rooted, but I'm not sure there are any CFW's available for it yet. Absolutely an amazing phone! Flagship features with a midrange price. Nothing OS is fast and responsive, battery life is very solid even with the always-on display feature on. The camera is rich in features and takes great quality pictures. The solid aluminium body is makes durablilty solid. I highly recommend that if your thinking about Nothing for a phone, to just get one and find out for yourself. I bought the 12/256 version, and very happy with that choice. ... show more

Decent phone. Love the 144hz screen, Battery life is also decent it's around 5 hours of screen on time but sometimes im on my phone for 7 hours a day so i have to charge it. The camera is also decent, Video is fine outside but if you're filming in lower light situations like in your room with a small lamp on then the video won't be too good. Photos are fine and 140x zoom is really nice but ultra wide could be better but still good enough for photos. Front facing camera is good for photos but for video it's meh. I also love how the software and the pre-installed apps only take up 30Gb of storage so i wish i got the 128gb version instead of 265gb lol. The glyphs on the back are cool i like how they're customizable but you have to install free apps to customize it to the fullest so i wish that was built into the phone already. The processor is bad on roblox honestly, Still gets the job done but you'll have to lower graphics to keep 60fps. On social media the processor holds up fine and doesn't feel slow. Also the software resembles a google pixel but with more features. Cellular for texting, calling and using mobile data works perfectly fine no issues and supports 5G. One last thing before i forgot, There's a dedicated ai button on the left side of the phone that you can't customize so that's annoying. Overall works great for me. ... show more

This phone is great! I switched on over from my iPhone 12 mini and first thing I noticed is just how bright and vibrant the screen is. I haven't tested it but the frame and overall build seem very strong, the screen is very fast and performance is no biggie also I know this is a standard feature but I was able to get a full charge in just under an hour and a half. It's also a very intuitive interface making it easy to use. Lastly I thought this was more of a gimmick but the glyph display on the back I find pretty helpful at times especially when my phone is charging because I like to have my phone face down ... show more

    • WiFi Bug Makes Phone Useless!

If you have a modern Comcast/Xfinity or Spectrum internet, I do NOT recommend purchasing this phone. If your home internet has automated mesh extenders and/or uses WPA3, I definitely do NOT recommend that you buy this phone. This phone has a severe "modem state trap" bug. Whenever the phone tries to auto-steer or hand off between the 2.4GHz and 5GHz nodes as you walk through your house, the software layer panics. Speed instantly craters from whatever your speeds are supposed to be, to an unusable 4–8 Mbps, which speeds from the year 2004. The only way to fix it is to manually toggle your phone's Wi-Fi off and back on every time you switch rooms, or completely downgrade your entire home router security network to WPA2-Only (which will break your smart home cameras and keypads). This phone can NOT handle the WPA3 security encryption protocol for some reason. This is a known, unresolved firmware/handshake bug on Nothing's end. Clean factory resets do not fix it. Unfortunately, I’m past my return date, so it’s used as a paper weight until they decide to release a fix for it. Again, I do NOT recommend buying this phone right now… unless you like your phone to be slow and laggy when browsing the internet, accessing info, or gaming. ... show more

It's a fantastic product for the price point. This brand doesn't always hit but they did with this one. Aluminum body so it doesn't shatter like others in the past. Glass is dope but can be risky. The camera is good enough to not feel like you're on a budget flagship. Sound quality from the phone speaker is bad honestly, but not a lot of people just listen to the phone speaker anymore. It's too quiet at low volumes and jumps drastically louder around the 30-40% volume It's a nothing phone so the ease of use is there, it's a simple but fun to customize UI. I personally didn't like the lack of customization in the past but they stepped it up recently. It's a little too wide of a phone for me but I'm a small handed dude. Makes the grip awkward. It works in the USA on Mint for sure, and I believe T-Mobile due to them being on the same bands. It's connectivity is practically the same as my GFS 14 pro on mint so it's great. ... show more
