Please note I have T-Mobile as my carrier so I have no network issues. The Nothing 2a works great with T-Mobile. I needed to replace my phone and I looked at all the major brands for android. To get the same kind of functionality I had with my old phone I would have had to spend around $1,000. I took a chance on this phone and I am really really pleased.     • Unreliable, Glitchy and Disappointing
I was genuinely excited about the Nothing Phone 2a after waiting a week for its delivery, but now I deeply regret this purchase. Straight out of the box, this phone has been nothing but a nightmare. It randomly stops working, the screen goes pitch black for several seconds, and then it either shuts down or restarts on its own—without me even touching it! This isn’t just an occasional glitch; it happens constantly, making the phone completely unreliable. Imagine trying to use your phone for something important, and it just dies on you. Then, after an unexpected reboot, you’re stuck waiting for it to start back up again. I bought this specifically because it claimed to support T-Mobile, but the connectivity is spotty at best. Calls drop, data is inconsistent, and I’m left with a phone that can’t even fulfill its most basic functions. To make matters worse, this is currently my only phone, and I depended on it. I was excited about the hype around the Nothing brand, but this experience has left me frustrated and stuck with an unreliable, malfunctioning device. Save your money and avoid this phone.     • Does not support WiFi calling
Overall, the phone is mostly worth the price. Several reviews say that the phone is not recognized by T-mobile. This is true to the extent that they say it is not supported as you set it up. But, when you continue anyways, it sets up fine. I have been using it for a month with T-mobile, and that works well. Call quality is overall good. Camera appears to be good. My biggest beef is that it does not truly support Wi-Fi calling. I needs to connect to the LTE network before it will allow you to use WiFi. This is stupid, b/c you want to use WiFi calling when the mobile network is not available. This alone is enough to have me looking for another phone... ... show more

(Update) So the phone isn't dependable lol Disconnects a lot and the "don't interrupt" mode doesn't really work most of the time.. buy this if you're the type that likes collecting fun tech and stuff but for serious use, it's not that dependable

Despite what the product description says about supported bands, both T-Mobile and ATT say this device is not supported on their networks. I spoke to both providers. Outside of the US, this phone may work fine. Seller should not post misleading descriptions.

    • Nothing Phone 2a Dead Under a Year - No Warranty
My Nothing Phone 2a is dead in under a year of usage (purchased Nov. 24th, 2024). The phone was well taken care of - just died suddenly in the middle of the night and refused to turn on after doing everything to troubleshoot. When pressing the power button, a faint clicking sound can be heard from the top speaker, but no sign of anything else turning on. Tried to open a warranty/support ticket through Nothing and was told that they wouldn't honor it since it was purchased through a 3rd party (purchased through Amazon doesn't count as 1st party). The phone wouldnt take a sim card in any slot and its to late to return so we are stuck with a broke phone that does nothing.
