The packaging is excellent, small, and delicate, making it very convenient to use. After my grandmother used it, she could hear me speaking softly to her. Previously, we had to shout to communicate, but now we can have normal conversations. My grandmother mentioned that there is no background noise when using it, and she really likes it. She becomes extremely happy when she puts it on. This hearing aid is also quite comfortable to wear, and since it needs to be worn regularly, comfort is crucial. After purchasing it, I tried wearing it on my own ears, and it was quite comfortable. I wouldn't let my grandmother use it unless it had sufficient comfort. I had concerns before buying it, but after purchasing it, I only regret not buying it earlier. If I had bought it earlier, my grandmother could have enjoyed it sooner. I really wanted to like these, but unfortuantely about an hour after starting to use them (and after charging fully overnight), the right side stopped working almost completely. I could still hear faint tones when adjusting volume, but the microphone was not picking up anything. From the time that I did have them working, they appeared to be quite strong. I had to put them both on lowest setting, otherwise I could almost hear people breathing. It seemed like higher pitch tones were a little too loud. It was nice not to hear a constant hiss/air sound like I've heard on other lower-priced units, but having it fail so fast was a huge red light for me, no matter how good it sounded. I have had them for two days, and they have been in. They are much better than last set of Eargo. Worked pretty much from start. I have not yet figured out the sound filtering, but they are new.
