These shoes feel sturdy, look fine, and are a good price point. But, they're not as lightweight as my regular hiking boots with similar features. At this price point, still a good deal.

Too bad that such good-looking hiking boots will get muddied and all-dirty from walking in the hiking trails. But it's all about the protective features these boots have that attracted us to get one for my partner. After trying them out for a good 5-mile hike on a nearby trail that featured asphalt, dirt, gravel, puddles, marshes, and creeks, she was convinced that it was one of the best hiking boots she had tried at such an affordable price. She loves the uppers' subdued color contrast and flesh-toned soles. She points out the ample padding, especially on the shoe tongue and collar, and how well it hugs and protects her feet from the elements. The sole provides excellent traction, although it collects caked-out mud that she has to scrape off with a metal spatula. She also likes to wear the boots when she tends to her small garden, flowers, and fruit trees in our front and backyard during weekends - ditching her lighter sneakers on not a few occasions. Much as she would like to have these boots to look as good when taken out of the box, but for her, it's all about foot protection when outdoors -- all season long. We highly recommend these attractive-looking women's hiking boots as they deliver all their advertised features well.

These are great boots! The waterproof aspect is great for hiking with my dog. They run true to size. I got a half size up for thick socks and they fit perfect. Very warm to wear, so I will not be using them until it gets bit colder out. I just wish there was a slight notch for a heel, just personal preference. I recommend them!

I have been hiking for years and this is by far the best pair of boots i own. I may just buy another pair for the future. these can easily last me years. not tight on the feet, cooling and comfortable for any hike even those over 2.5 hours
