I got these boots to do a gorilla trek and monkey trek in Rwanda. I tried so many boots and decided on these. Right out of the box, they looked great and we’re very comfortable. Now, after completing the two treks, I can say these were FANTASTIC!!! Fit well, kept my feet dry, and cleaned up beautifully, even after walking through lots of mud!! I got one size up and they were perfect. These preformed just as well as boots triple their price! So glad I bought them.

These boots did a decent job of keeping my feet warm on our winter walk in 17 degrees and the soles kept me from slipping on the snow. They are fairly heavy but comfortable with no break in needed. I wore medium weight socks and they do run a little small. My toes are right at the top of the toe box with little wiggle room. If you plan on wearing thick socks definitely go up half size. Update: I have been wearing these during the winter thaw and hiking through mud and water. And my feet are dry!!!!!

I’ve been looking for hiking boots for ankle support but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. These boots are very comfortable and gave me excellent support. They do run big and after 2 returns I ended up going down a full size. I wear an 8.5 and ended up with 7.5. Great width in the toe box. Great grip on the gravel and non slip. Like that they come with an extra set of laces.

These boots are super comfortable but make sure to size a half size up. They are perfect for hiking in the snow and kept my feet dry and warm. They are heavy but not too heavy where it fatigued me. Definitely a good purchase!

I bought it to my exact size and I would suggest sizing up. That’s what other people who hike regularly suggested to combat the problems I face. After a while of hiking the shoes do feel uncomfortable. I try to wear thick socks to combat the feeling, but after a while my feet becomes sore - partially because it’s heavy hiking but the shoes fitting too closely. The tongue of the shoe kind of sticks outward at the top, I try to tie it differently to prevent that (and for more ankle support) but idk how to, it’s just the way the shoes were made.

I got these primarily for my bird watching excursions. I sloshed through a very wet and puddle filled park today for 1and a half hours after heavy rain and my socks are still dry. They are comfortable and supportive. Happy with my purchase.
