When on a backpacking trip with this babies. No blisters and my feet was comfortable. Was in the lake with them fishing when I noticed they wasn't waterproof. Good hiking boots but you feet will get soaked.

It had just rained a lot before my hike. The trail was muddy and wet. These boots kept my feet dry and steady through the hikes. They were easy to clean up too.

Sturdy, rubbing my toes and dirts gets in due to odd design.. I brought this boots to replace my 12+ years old boots. I wanted waterproof, sturdy, has traction, and affordable. Amazon reviews as 4.5 and $47, so thought reviews already pointed out that boots are heavy, figured thats super good price in this everything is triple of costs, I ordered! Thought Amazon gave conflicting delivery messages, the package arrived as promised when ordered which is 2 days. The boots were in a equally bulky huge box w message of original box was damaged. The boots looks new, but without the rubber or any new package. The boots itself is indeed heavy but was not too bad, shoe traction looks good, super long laces for some odd reason, I ordered size 8 for my 7.5 feet as some reviewssays shoe size small, its seems correctly at 8 so its a bit too big. Perhaps due too slightly larger boot, as going down hill, it push into my toes and rubbing side of my pinky, and it widen opening at ankle and dirt and rocks gets in and jabbing side of my ankle. The hiking trail i went through has 2 little wet spots so I couldn't test waterproof but concerns top of boots may not be waterproof. ... show more

Great price for hiking boots. They’re definitely good looking shoes. Did the trick for me when I went hiking through mud, river rocks, and many steep inclines. I bought a half size up to accommodate for socks, but I didn’t need to. They’re definitely big on me even with thick socks. It’s hard to lace them up completely at the top so I did get small pebbles in them from walking for a long distance. When we had to wade across a river, I loved the waterproof element. My feet stayed totally dry and they were pretty well submerged in the water. However, these boots are extremely thick and heavy, and I had a hard time navigating over the rocks because of this. They are not great for the rocks because you can’t quite feel where your foot is or get your balance well. Still, couldn’t beat the price! ... show more
