  • Hiking Must-have
Size: 10 Color: Brown/Orange
These boots are comfortable and well constructed. The toe box is large enough to provide wiggle room and the ankle supports are solid. Great hiking boot for the cost.

  • So comfortable and do what they are meant to do.
Size: 6.5 Color: Brown/Orange
I have had these shoes now for about a month and 1/2 and wear them every day and I just had to write a review. I have needed a good waterproof, comfortable shoe to wear every day while I do chores on my farm. I had been wearing barn shoes and although they are comfortable, they tend to get a little stiff feeling by the end of the day making my feet feel tired. So I began looking for a more comfortable shoe that would hold up to daily wear and tear. I ordered the 6 and 1/2 to give my toes a little more room and they fit perfectly. And so very comfortable!! So much so that by the end of the day, I don't want to take them off! They are water proof, at least for the filling and cleaning of water troughs. I haven't worn them in standing water so cannot vouch for how they would do in that scenario. I can walk over rocky terrain as these provide good traction and I don't feel the rocks through the soles so much, which is a plus. I wear them to do errands as well. I cannot tell you how warm they would be in cold weather as I have not had them that long, but I can tell you that my feet have not felt too hot in this warmer weather so they must have decent ventilation. They are really cute and did I mention they were comfortable? If you are on the fence about buying these shoes, I say, do it, as you will not be disappointed. Oh and by the way, they are so comfortable! ... show more

  • Great value for a great hiking boot!
Size: 9 Color: Brown/Orange
I wanted a hiking boot that was ankle high but also didn't break the bank and I LOVE these! I have worn them on multiple hikes. They are comfortable and durable! I usually hover around an 8.5-9 US women's and I got a size 9. They are they perfect fit and I can still wear my hiking socks comfortably!

  • Really good hiking shoes
Size: 7 Color: Light Grey
I’m a size 7, and it’s true to size. It’s comfortable for hiking, and I’ve used them to do walks or hikes that range from 2-10 miles on rocks, sidewalks, etc. It’s a really efficient hiking shoe and if you don’t have super wide feet this would be a good choice. I took off a star only because if you walk in them for about 40 minutes, and in the heat, your foot will get warm in there. I don’t mind it, but if that makes you uncomfortable then walking in there for an hour plus, wouldn’t be ideal. ... show more

  • Great Bang for one's Buck... Fits True to Size and Super Light Weight.
Size: 8.5 Color: Dark Grey-suede
I'm surprised by the quality of these NORTIV Hiking Boots out of the box. Packaging was great, they arrived earlier than expected, but more than that, no visibly loose threads. Super light weight. Easy to slip on. I'm using these in the tropics at the moment and meant to use them strictly in my family's garden. I wanted to keep my feet safe from the sun and the reflective sunlight that would normally sting (and rocks!). It's great. I don't feel my feet sweating or stinging which is a first. Ever. I purposely walked through puddles. I was amazed that my socks were dry. These breathe/dry amazingly in warm evironments but I have no doubt that they will serve others well in varied environments with the slighest wind. They also dry quick and clean easy should you encounter a deep puddle (3-4") but still not yet fully submerged. It's only been a few days but I've put them through some use and they come out looking new. My feet are not roasting either. In my opinion they can be used for multiple climates, or transitions of climates in a hike. (Warm to cool/ tropical to varied alpine but NOT arctic conditions). They seem to mold with your feet/ foot shape. The supports are more comfortable than I expected. I was expecting to have to break these in. Not at all. The arch supports are not too extreme (again it's labelled as a hiking boot), and I love the ankle support in that it's not a fixed setting, which allows anyone to do as they please with the laces (to put it simply), the padding is not overly thick, the tongue is just right. In the 'toe box' there is just the right enough of space to give support as well without cramping or toe clenching. I felt no slipping either. The soles surprised me. Yesterday I was able to explore my uncle's cavernous property without slipping or skidding. I never dared to do so before. Talk about grip!!! If you need these to assist you with mobility, give them a try. I'm glad I did. These can definitely be used daily in that sense. Note... There has been no foul odor upon drying in the sun, or without it in a sunless area. At this time I've seen no discolorization, staining, or spotting either. However, I do believe a windy/ breezy area may play a vital part. Lastly, and more importantly... if you have a wider foot, order them wide. As someone with thinner feet they feel just right in the tropics. If you have to wear thicker socks, long johns, or thermals; go half a size up. ... show more

  • Comfortable and sturdy; but when walking, they sound like a candy wrapper
Size: 8.5 Color: Brown/Orange
Just got these boots yesterday and I wore them today on a two mile walk. They are very comfortable. I wear an 8 1/2 in women's boots. This is the size I ordered and they fit perfectly. After a straight two mile walk on a dirt road, my feet feel great. They're not achy or tired. I did notice my feet felt really warm during the last quarter mile of my walk, but this could be from an elevated body temperature and wearing cotton socks. I did briefly go off the beaten path leaving the dirt trail for the woods. There were no issue with the terrain. The shoes managed the ground, the leaves, the branches and the bugs just fine. lol I ordered the brown color and they look great on my feet and I like that I can wear them with just about anything. I have to add these boots were purchased expressly for hiking in the back woods. Once the terrain dries out from the recent rains, I will see how these boots hold up after a three mile hike in the woods. On a side note: these boots are noisy. Not sure why? When walking, it sounds like I have a candy wrapper inside the boot. Is this from the material they use to form the tongue of the shoe? Perhaps its the material used to make the boots waterproof? It's most noticeable on the right boot; although the left one is also producing the same sound, but it's not as loud. (See attached video) This is not a deal breaker for me unless these boots don't hold up to rugged terrain. And perhaps the sound will diminish or go away completely after some use? I'm curious to know if anyone else has noticed this same noise when walking in their boots? Even though the noise from the bending of the boot during walking is a little odd, aside from that I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm hopeful they'll hold up for more aggressive activity in the future. ... show more

  • Great Quality, Comfortable and Reasonably Priced!
Size: 10 Color: Dark Grey-suede
I am very happy with these hiking boots. Now that the weather is getting warmer I’ve started hiking again and needed a new pair of boots. I really didn’t want to spend a lot of money. I did some research on other brands and ended up choosing this brand. I’m really happy with my purchase. They are comfortable and I didn’t need any time to break them in. I wore them on a rocky trail and they had great traction and the thick sole was great on the rocks. I haven’t tried them in wet conditions yet. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase and if you are looking for a great quality hiking boot at a reasonable price I definitely recommend this brand! ... show more
