Wow! I'm an avid hiker and have hiked all over the Western and Pacific states. I've recently been having some plantar trouble and switched from my expensive zero drop boots to these. My feet love these! Right out of the box I completed a very technical backpacking adventure in Grand Staircase-Escalante. Very difficult terrain with lots of elevation gain and loss over slick rock and sand. It was a great test for these boots and they did very well. Excellent traction! I'm a 10 and usually buy a 10.5 but I got a 10 in these and they fit perfectly. My feet feel terrific. These boots are less than half the cost of my Altra boots. One caveat, though. Whereas the Altras hug my ankles (and are difficult to get into), these boots have a wide opening with less ankle support and lots of rocks and debris can easily get in. I had to stop to empty my boots more than I ever have on a hike, but the payoff is that I have happy feet. ... show more

These shoes fit my feet perfectly; the soles are neither too soft nor too hard, and the uppers are quite wide. The only thing I’m unsure about right now is how effective the non-slip grip on the soles will be. I have very picky feet—I’ve bought shoes from many different brands, but they were always either too narrow in the upper or too hard in the sole. Very comfortable and true to size. I’m usually a half size larger in most hiking boots but these are sized perfectly.Im on my feet all day on work sites and so far they held up well and feel great on feet . Also very light weight. Would buy again.

I have used these for a few weeks now and they are BETTER than I expected. They fit well, are water-proof (I power washed my driveway). They fit me well and are very comfortable. They feel light on my feet. The price was very reasonable. They seem to be well constructed. After all the abuse I have put them through they still look like new with no wear or scuff/abraisions.
