To start I have to begin by saying I was extremely, extremely shocked by the quality and outstanding performance of these boots. I had a trip scheduled for Washington, Seattle where I planned on hiking with a good buddy. I dropped the ball and on a whim had to order this pair from Amazon. In total I hiked 45 miles through the snow of Mt. Rainier, hard rocks, tree stumps and even the HOH Rainforest. So the boots were broken in on the trip. Incredibly, the fit was so comfortable and was a size 7 which was the recommendation of Amazon based on the AI suggestion. They were so cushiony that my feet were only mildly sore by the 3rd day of straight hiking and this is the original insoles nothing added! As you can see in the pictures I rucked through snow, rain, mud and over rocks on creek beds. The grip was incredible as the only time I slipped was on rocks that had moss and are polished from the waters. It allowed me to comfortably climb up mountains and through slippery muddy areas. At times I had jogged and even with this type of movement I never developed chafing or blisters on any part of my feet. With that in mind though, once I hit 40 plus miles hiking I realized that the flexibility wasn't as flexible as I would like for longer backpacking trips and this would require a customized boot for the particular intensity I'd be looking for in the future. The entire time my feet stayed super, super dry and warm after hiking over 3.1 miles in the snow of Mt. Ranier where the temperature was below 45 degrees and snowing once we reached approximately 4,800 feet in elevation. The appearance was also sleek to a degree for an all around and multiple type of terrain experience. If you plan on doing any sort of casual hiking these are an incredible pair of boots for the price asked! Absolutely astounded they didn't fall apart. The laces stayed tied as well throughout each and every hike. Very amazed

I previously purchased HI-TEC and Camel Crown brands in the same price range and these are far better. Durability, fit, comfort, metal eyelets (yea, it matters), removable insert. I've worn them on a daily basis for almost 3 months and I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

I will say these fit good right out of the box. Didn’t take long to break them. Fit was true to size. I only gave it four stars because I haven’t tried them in water yet. Worth the money.

Design and aesthetics looks great. They were uncomfortable and not made well for the price point they were asking for. Then there's this rumor, that most of these companies on amazon are faked, to get your money and sit on it with others monies from bad orders. This creates a compounded interest to be made and you don't even to really need to carry any inventory. Today marks the 7th day I sent it to the UPS store with the printed return label attached.
