  • Underwhelming But Adequate
Size: 9 Color: Dark Brown
These are worth the price, if only for the waterproof upper; otherwise, they are rather vanilla. They do feel OK on my feet, the insole is nice and soft, and the padded collar around the ankle doesn't irritate. The toe cap is an added feature that I needed, as I have a tendency to be clumsy. The outer sole holds well, but be certain, these are not non-skid soles, they are skid-resistant; there is a difference. So be aware of this. It's the plasticky look of them that makes them sort of meh. They really do look rather cheap. And the huge midsole is only glued to the shoe, not stitched; I don't think I would trust these for long hikes, lots of ups and downs and it may start coming loose. But for a camping/fishing/hunting trip, or for working on level ground (like a concrete slab in a warehouse), these ought to do all right. Final verdict: waterproof and comfortable, made of good quality material, but without non-skid soles and suspect midsoles their usage is rather limited, and they look like $50 boots. • Tackle Any Trail With Confidence!
Size: 13 Color: Black
Let me dive deeper into why these hiking boots have become my new favorite outdoor companions. From the moment I slipped these boots on, I could feel the difference. The heel cup insole not only provided unparalleled arch support but also distributed pressure evenly across my feet, alleviating any discomfort. It's incredible how something as simple as proper foot alignment can make such a significant difference, especially during long hikes. And with the convenient pull tab, getting these boots on and off is a breeze, saving me valuable time and energy. One of the standout features for me is the reinforced ankle protection. As someone who's had their fair share of ankle injuries on the trail, having that extra support and stability is invaluable. I felt confident navigating through rocky terrain and uneven surfaces, knowing that my ankles were well-protected. Durability is key when it comes to hiking boots, and these certainly deliver. The combination of premium leather and Oxford fabric makes them incredibly sturdy without sacrificing comfort. I've put these boots through their paces on various trails, and they've held up impressively well. Of course, no hiking boot would be complete without waterproof protection, and these boots certainly deliver in that department. The breathable waterproof upper kept my feet dry in wet conditions, while still allowing airflow to prevent overheating. Whether crossing creeks or trudging through muddy terrain, I never once had to worry about soggy socks. Comfort is paramount on long hikes, and these boots don't disappoint. The lightweight EVA midsole provides ample cushioning and support, allowing me to tackle even the toughest trails without fatigue setting in. And thanks to the slip-resistant outsole with its lug pattern design, I always felt sure-footed, no matter the terrain. Overall, these hiking boots have exceeded my expectations in every way. They're comfortable, durable, and provide the performance I need to tackle any trail with confidence. If you're in the market for a new pair of hiking boots, look no further. These are the real deal. ... show more

  • Decent boot
Size: 10.5 Color: Army Green
On the positive side, these boots are lightweight, look decent, and are comfortable. They're easy to walk around in, especially while wearing them with my cushy hiking socks. And they're waterproof. The reinforced toe cap is a nice feature, too. I ordered these boots about 1/2 size larger than I usually would to accommodate said cushy hiking socks. This turned out to be a good choice. With the socks on, the boots fit well. I didn't feel anything that would cause a hotspot or blister on either foot. I have two problems with them, though. First, they're not exactly breathable. My feet started to sweat practically the moment I put them on. Second, the laces are a bit short for my taste. Getting them tied was a bit of a problem. I don't know that I'll wear them for more than a short hike. But I will wear them for working in the yard after it rains or snows. ... show more

  • Very nice hiking boots
Size: 9.5 Color: Black
First of all these boots look awesome. True to the size. Fits me perfectly. . They appear heavy but are rather lightweight. The waterproof leather material feels nice and soft. The heel cushion feels comfortable to walk on. I am flatfooted so I always appreciate if there is some arch support. These boots however could use a bit more arch support. The rubber outsole is softer than it looks. You actually can walk quietly while having these boots on. These boots do have a bit of chemical odor right out of the box, but dissipate quickly so its not too big of a concern. I really like these hiking boots and I recommend you give them a try. ... show more

  • Nice boots and exceptional customer service
Size: 8.5 Color: Army Green
Nice hiking shoes. They run a little large but are comfortable. Being waterproof I will be using these in the snow. Not sure how breathable they will be in the summer given the type of waterproofing. Had to reach out to customer service with a small issue and they were very responsive. I highly recommend this seller. ... show more

  • Everything- Proof
Size: 12 Color: Dark Brown
These boots are good for hiking, work or just chores around the place. They're advertized as genuine leather, and although out of the box the uppers look like plastic, they smell like genuine steerhide. They're just finished glossy so they're waterproof. They're long and wide enough so as not to cramp your feet, and you can wear thick socks. The soles are grippy on hard packed dirt or rocks. They're lightweight. All in all, great hiking/work boots and a good value. ... show more
