I was looking for a pair of chukka style shoes that I could use as every day wear. Something that would hold up whether I was walking through gravel, dirt, mud, grass, pavement or some combination so I took a chance I bought both the brown and black pairs to stylishly change them to match my outfits. These were the 2nd and 3rd pairs of shoes I've bought from this brand and the first was the more rugged NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots Lightweight Mid Ankle Trekking Trails Outdoor Boots. I originally purchased that pair to serve the same purpose but quickly realised they were ill suited for everyday wear but better used on my actual hiking trips. These shoes are not as comfortable as those other boots, which have a memory foam insole but they are comfortable enough to serve their intended purpose, stylish enough to match with anything that doesn't require a tie (i.e. chinos or jeans) and very affordable for the quality.

Lightweight, I added Dr Scholl's Orthodic insoles. Great comfortable fit, wore them 16hrs on first day. Good laugh about "viggan leather"..shared the hilarity with friends and family.
