These Childrens boots seem to be of high quality. The rubber sole is very durable and has good traction while hiking. This is my son’s first pair of hiking boots and he is excited about how comfortable they are. He is so pleased that they have now become his daily wear shoes.

Super cute on my three year old. He has worn them hiking a few times now and after only wearing them around for a day he hiked a little over two miles in them and had no complaints.

I bought this in little kids size 8 for my 3 year old daughter. She started hiking on her own this last year as I now have to carry her 1 year old sister. She has hiked up to 4 miles with 600+ feet of elevation gain in them. These are great shoes. She wears good wool socks (smartwool is awesome!) with them and hasn’t ever complained of her feet hurting. I don’t think they are completely waterproof as her socks were a little wet on our last hike after stomping through some steams but I can’t be sure that wasn’t also from “swishing” the boots off at the end of the hike in the river after having to Ford a mudslide. The one complaint I have is the ankle strap which is not long/strong enough. It comes undone regularly and my daughter does not have large legs. I’ve been thinking about doing what another reviewer did and cutting off the strap to replace with laces. Overall a great hiking shoe and I will probably be buying again soon in a larger size when my daughter outgrows these ones.
