What to say about a static rope . . . It is rope-shaped, rope-scented, and - I would assume - rope flavored. Joking aside, because it is static, I only use it for repelling and hauling gear. I tried it out on my 8 and on my stitch plate for giggles, and it really is a good, strong rope with reasonable stiffness that cleans up well. I didn't take my phone out with me, so the photos are just the ones from on the dining room table, but I will add more next time if I think of it. The sack it comes in is okay and will be good for storage.

The rope is as described. It's very useable and functional for its intended purpose. I found the rope to be a bit stiff and rough. There are better ropes at a greater price but this one is sufficient.

For about 100 ft of climbing rope, this is a pretty good deal. It has 3300 lb working strength, which is plenty for it's intended uses. I love the bright blue color. It comes in a really nice bag. Too bad they didn't think to mark the bag with the type of rope it contains, for easy reference. I'll do it myself. But it's a nice rope overall.

Honestly I just wanted a roll of rope for my pack when I go snow shoeing through some sketchy areas and need it in an emergency. The rope seems great and will no doubt hold up for tough situations. I'm not a climber though, so I'm not sure if it has certain qualities y'all are looking for, but as an avid hiker and back country explorer - it's great.
