This Nordic Ware dough cutter has great utility in the kitchen — I use it for portioning dough, lifting sticky pieces off the counter, and even scraping the surface clean when I’m done. The quality stands out as soon as you pick it up: the stainless steel blade feels solid, and the beechwood grip is smooth and comfortable. The cutting ability is excellent. The blade has just the right sharpness to slice through dough cleanly without dragging or squishing it.     • handle and blade need some actual fasteners
the wood handle fell off this thing pretty quickly. Or rather, the heavy blade fell off the handle. Only ever hand washed. I tried wedging the blade back in there with some paper and saran wrap but it wasn't very effective. Eventually I got tired of the blade falling off (the last time onto my foot) and just bought another cutter with actual pins holding the handle on. Which is too bad because I like the feel of this handle and normally like this brand. ... show more
