My eye doctor recommended fish oil for my dry eyes. A co-worker suggested this brand because there was no fishy after taste, no bad breath, no funky skin smells or any of those other nasty issues. After trying it, I agree, they are perfect. My eyes are less dry. There are none of the yucky issues listed above. I found what I thought was a similar brand on sale at my local grocery store. Omega 3 isn't about pain relief - it's about reducing inflammation. It takes about 90 days for you to notice things aren't as 'ouchey' as they once were. Also, Omegas are great for your eyes. Nordic Naturals are my go-to. No fishy taste or after-burp and a good, therapeutic dosage.

I have taken Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega for many years and never had a problem. The last 3 bottles I received through Amazon were unusable. All the capsules were stuck together and some capsules had leaked which made everything smell of fish. I will try ordering directly from Nordic Naturals because these are too expensive to not be able to use them or return them. UPDATE: Nordic Naturals reached out to me about this issue. They could not have been nicer or more helpful . After a few conversations over email they refunded my purchase price for the 3 unusable bottles. One of the hardest parts about finding a good fish oil pill is not only quality ingredients but the after taste. I am currently pregnant and have been experiencing reflux. Let me tell you, burping up a fish oil pill with an awful taste makes you want to veto the entire pill all together. However, the amount of fish I used to consume in comparison to how much I currently consume is why a fish oil supplement is vital.
