This is an AMAZING little cooler for moms who travel. If you need something for frozen breast milk, I can’t recommend this highly enough. I spent ages researching coolers to bring frozen breast milk home on a trip. This one seemed like the best bang for my buck, plus it would fold and fit in my checked luggage. I spent 5 days in South Africa and had about 24 hours of flying time to get home to Oregon, USA. I was able to fit almost all 5 days worth of milk (a gallon total) in this cooler, frozen, with 2 medium sized Cooler Shock ice packs. The cooler is rated to keep ice for 2 days. My checked bag, however, got lost in Amsterdam and it didn’t arrive home until over a day after me. Meaning my milk sat in this bag for about 56 hours total. I was so upset and sure that it would all have melted, but upon opening I realized that almost ALL of it, except 4 bags on the very top, was still partially/mostly frozen and I could keep it! I was overjoyed. The thawed bags were still 38 degrees and I was able to use them immediately. I am so grateful for this cooler! And would absolutely recommend it.

I like that the top of this fully opens and you can see inside. The interior shape is more of a box than a bigger soft sided yeti. I have not compared this to my boyfriend's soft yeti in terms of capacity to retain cold, but I can confirm that it works very well. I used it with cooler shock ice packs for a weekend cabin trip. Departed on Thursday morning, cooler was packed then. I pre-chilled it with an ice block, and some things packed were frozen. I made sure it was packed full, and the outsides were lined with icepacks. Drove in the summer heat to a destination 2.5 hours away, but had to wait until about 4 pm to get into hotel room for the night. Cooler was moved inside for the night. The following day was another 1 hour drive to cabin site. That night, I started pulling things from the cooler, and they were all still perfectly chilled a day and a half later. I did keep the cooler covered with a blanket while in my car, for extra insulation. But once at the cabin there was no electricity and no option for more ice. As things started coming out of the cooler and more air space was left and also the more it was opened and closed, the more quickly things started to warm up. However, if you follow good cooler packing protocol, you'll end up with good results with this soft sided cooler, which I have found to be a great value for the money. It's also the right size and shape to hold a casserole dish, and I'm sure could also be used to keep a covered dish warm at least for a few hours.

I don't write a lot of reviews, only if I'm super impressed. I will say I don't own any yeti or other expensive coolers sold at the sports stores but my brothers all have them and often laugh at me for being so picky about buying expensive stuff. I like to compare things and not just buy what's on the shelf. They feel like u get what u pay for and I agree to that sometimes. But I also know that alot of companies make better products that are not the most expensive on the market. my norchill is made better and they can keep their expensive coolers..who is laughing now..me because I saved money and have the superior product.

I read really nice reviews about this cooler and I think that’s what made my hopes so high. I purchased the cooler and the recommended ice packs so that I could transport breast milk from German to Texas. The label on the bag and the description say that it keeps ice for 2 days, but I’m not sure how as my frozen milk started to thaw after about 8 hours. It may keep a block of ice for 2 days, but I doubt it will keep small individual cubes or individually frozen items frozen that long. It’s great to keep things cold, but not frozen.

Not many things are perfect so that’s why 4 stars! However this NorChill 24 can Marine boat bag is darn close to perfect! I compared this bag to every similar bag including Yeti & RTIC. Save your money and go with NorChill. Ice lasted, without any melting, for 10 hours in 80 degree weather at the beach. It’s roomy with a wide enough bottom to accept square food containers. I packed: 4 food containers, 6 frozen water bottles, 5-6 baggies with snacks, 2 bottles of tea, 2 pieces of fruit, a large zip lock bag with ice, two large plastic lidded cups and had plenty of room left over. The zipper provides a large opening (better then Yeti, IMO) and everything stays in place! The liner DID NOT LEAK! The only moisture in the bag was sweat from the frozen water bottles, as expected. A half a sheet of a paper towel wiped the moisture up at the end of the day. The exterior material is very substantial and assume if it got dirty it would easily wipe clean. I love the white color as it does not attract heat. All in all I highly recommend this bag. I purchased two- one for food and one for drinks when it’s more than two of us.

This is a great cooler. Keeps my beer ice cold during rounds of golf and fits in the basket perfectly with 6-9 beers in it and plenty of ice. My only complaint is that the zipper does NOT seal the water in. If you tilt it with water in the cooler the water will leak out with no resistance. That is why it’s not a 5 star rating. Other than that, the cooler is fantastic. The outer material seems super durable and the inside liner seems just as awesome. Do not hesitate to buy on if you are looking for a cooler almost on par with the more expensive brands. I would buy another one without hesitation.
