This sounded like a great idea to line the shelves on an IKEA shelf we have to display the kidโ€™s Lego figures. But, the adhesive lining you have to remove is supremely frustrating in that the material is too thin and falls into bits as you try to remove it. Should be thicker paper, and super thin plastic. The other problem with it is that Legos barely stay attached. In particular mini-figure feet. Lego bricks and the like do better, albeit barely. If youโ€™re trying to get clever with building something vertically, the tape holds little to no weight. Glueing down Lego boards makes for a better surface in any situation ... show more

I only discovered this item recently and it had been really nice. I have a wonderful use for it to display my Legos in my hallway. The adhesive is great but it does come off the wall if you need it to without too much effort or marking the wall.

It's nearly impossible to peel the backing off. It comes off -- grudgingly -- in tiny little chunks (we're talking 3-55mm before it snaps). In the end we decided to tear it all off and use our own 3M tape instead of sending it back and waiting for shipping from another seller (and it would probably be the same anyway). This product is horrible. You cannot get the backing off to use the sticker. If you are lucky enough to get the backing off, the sticky part comes with it.
