Glitter can be a mess. These glue stick give great control on where it goes . There is a trick to getting them started. The top of the stick has a small ball on it that must be removed to let the glue flow. It cannot be replace once removed.

Purchased the glue pens for the Ornament Exchange Art Event. They were the perfect product for making the paper stars. It is easy for the attendees to control the glue volume without the spillage we usually get with glue bottles, even the small pen type. These are really neat they work pretty darn good I'm not sure how good they'll last cuz I don't use them very often but every time I've picked one up it has held together what I've glued so it's kind of neat very handy

The colors are cute, but since the point is not to be seen (and it dries clear), that's not exactly a benefit. I use them to stick paper to paper, and it's not very sticky. Good enough for small projects, but nothing sturdier than printer paper. Doesn't work on photo paper.
