Our glass stovetop has a not-very-visible "hot" light to warn when the burner area has recently been used. After yet another accidental touch - ow! - I looked for something attractive to place on the stovetop to warn that it was recently used, and to keep it from being accidentally touched. These silicone pads are great. They're attractive and they can handle the heat once the element has cooled for about five minutes. They also are great when using the stovetop to receive pans removed from the oven after cooking. The only downside is if they get something on them and it dries overnight as they are annoying to clean 😂 Still totally worth it.
