These are as advertised, sheer but not see through. Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted curtains that allow light in but weren't see through, and definitely didn't want blackouts. This is for my dining room and it faces west. So I get quite a bit of afternoon direct sun. I like a bright airy feel and would go curtain less but the sun is a bit much. I also didn't want the cheap all polyester curtains that always seem to look wrinkled and stiff, but something with a soft fabric feel and look in the way it hung. This is all of that. It looks soft and is so, the white color is bright and lean. The stitching at the top where the bar slides through appears of decent quality. I normally prefer rings on curtains, but I actually like the way the top of this looks as it doesn't scrunch so much on the bar. My windows are 3 - 36" windows and ordering 2 packs of these (each with 2 panels) covered that whole space rather than needing 3 packs. Overall, these were a solid value for the money - less than cheaper alternatives and they look and feel better to me.

These curtains are functional and decent-looking, but not my favorite. They are semi-sheer and soft. They seem durable enough and well put together. I just don't like the polyester feel I guess. I'm using them in my sunroom, so I do like that if I leave them closed during the day, they let in a good bit of diffused light. I do have to say, that on their listing, one of their bullet points is that they are "claw proof and fur resistant," and so far that is true. I've got two black cats brushing up against them all day long because the sunroom is where their cat towers are, and so far these curtains are NOT picking up the cat fur. So that is a definite positive for people with pets. I think my not being crazy excited about these curtains are my own issues, so don't let that keep you from getting them.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect sheer white curtains to brighten up my bedroom, and ones that reached the floor. These 54-inch wide by 102-inch tall panels from Amazon are the exact length I needed. This size is harder to find than the others. I have high ceilings and wanted something that would really make the room feel taller and more open, and these delivered perfectly. What Makes These Sheers Stand Out: Many sheer curtains can feel flimsy or have a yellowish tint. What immediately impressed me about these is their exceptional quality for the price point. The fabric is a soft, flowing sheer that feels substantial yet lets in plenty of natural light. The white is a true, crisp white, not an off-white or cream, which was exactly what I wanted to achieve a clean and airy aesthetic. For their generous 102-inch length, finding this level of quality in a ready-made panel is a huge win. Installation was a breeze. The rod pocket is generously sized, making it super easy to slide onto my curtain rod. The 102-inch length is fantastic for my taller windows, giving a lovely cascading effect. What I love most is how these curtains transform the light in the room. They diffuse harsh sunlight, creating a soft, warm glow throughout the day. They offer a good amount of privacy during the daytime without feeling heavy or making the room feel enclosed. At night, with lights on inside, they still provide a decent level of privacy, though if you're looking for complete opacity, you'd need to layer them with heavier drapes. I’ve put Terra-cotta Velvet Curtains on the outside of the sheers, that I can close at night. The 54-inch width is just right for my windows, providing a nice fullness without being overly gathered. I purchased two panels for a standard-sized window, and they look fantastic together. A Note on Curtain Length and "Pooling": The 102-inch length on these curtains means they're quite long, making them ideal for a few different styles of "pooling" (the way the curtain fabric gathers on the floor): * The "Kiss" or "Break": For a tailored, sophisticated look, you want the curtain to just barely touch or "kiss" the floor. This style is elegant and practical as it doesn't collect much dust. For a 102-inch curtain, this might mean hanging your rod slightly higher than usual to achieve this perfect length, or accepting a very minimal break. * Minimal Puddle (1-3 inches): This is what I have chosen for my space, allowing the curtain to extend just a few inches onto the floor. It creates a soft, romantic, and slightly more relaxed look than the "kiss" without being overly dramatic. With a sheer fabric like this, a minimal puddle looks absolutely beautiful and flows gracefully. * Medium to Generous Puddle (3+ inches): If you desire a more dramatic, opulent, or bohemian feel, you can let the curtains gather more significantly on the floor. This creates a luxurious "puddle" effect. For sheer curtains, a larger puddle adds a dreamy, ethereal touch. Keep in mind that more pooling means more fabric on the floor, which can collect dust and might not be ideal for high-traffic areas or homes with pets. I opted for a minimal puddle to add softness and elegance to my high ceilings. I also learned that designers are telling us to hang the curtain rod as high as you can towards the ceiling. This creates a modern look and also makes you windows and room look taller and therefore “roomier.” If you're looking to add a touch of lightness, elegance, and diffused natural light to your space, I highly recommend these sheer white curtains. They're a fantastic value for the quality and truly elevate the feel of the room. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! PS: I steamed my sheers with a handheld steamer and a step ladder, before I took the attached photos. I steamed them less than10 mins each. I did have to use an extension cord but I do not recommend for you to do that. Steamers are supposed to be plugged directly into the to the outlet. Follow the directions of your steamer.

I'm somewhere in the middle with these. They are 100% polyester and look it, like a lot like it. They remind me of a cheap halloween costume for like a nurse or nun. It does give a nice weight to them if that's a plus for you. I do like that they let some light still filter in and do appear to block what you can see outside, so I assume outside can't see in either. This does mean however, that they are thicker than any "sheer" curtain I've ever come across... the semi-sheer headline is fairly accurate. I've been buying/rebuying/using Ikea's Matilda curtains for years and love the amount of light they allow in but was starting to feel like my neighbors can see inside (my balcony windows are relatively close to walkways along a courtyard). While I may gain some extra privacy, I will lose some of the natural light. If you want just a bit of light but privacy is more important, these could be perfect... if you can get past the aweful (imo) fabric.
