Rolled on pavement at 40 mph, saved my elbows and shoulders, broke a rib. One small tear in shoulder of jacket. Would have been hurt much worse without it. Great wind resistance with removable lining. TTS. Good value.

Does indeed fit a size larger. Order one size down and you will be good. I’m an XL and ordered a large and it fits perfect. Fells protective but also has vents for breathing and a fair amount of stretch for leaving your arms or torso forward without being restricting.

Amazon Product Review- Nomad Ironborn Motorcycle Jacket The Nomad Ironborn motorcycle jacket is a quality product, made of premium materials; but has that coveted budget price tag. - Materials/Construction- Starting with the coated, poly outer shell; the Nomad Ironborn offers excellent protection from the elements. Rain resistant with water-proofed zippers, the Ironborn is ready for the rainy season here in Washington. As for the brief summer months, Nomad has provided ample ventilation throughout the jacket. These ventilation ports are secured behind more water-proofed zippers; keeping them secure when needed and allowing ease of access when things get a bit swampy. Another strong point in the construction of the jacket is the myriad of pockets. I personally love having pockets all over the place. The big cellular pocket was a welcome sight when I showed off the Nomad Ironborn to a few of my other biker friends. Their only critique being that maybe the cellular pocket be clear so that they could see/use touchscreen while the phone is in the pocket while riding. Fit- The Nomad Ironborn motorcycle jacket fits AMAZINGLY! At 5’7” 180lbs, I went with the LARGE and was very pleased with the fit. The cut and sewing of the jacket creates a very aesthetic, pleasing look while remaining comfortable and mobile. The soft armor throughout the jacket is also comfortable and secure. I don’t really have any concerns that the armor is going to bunch-up or move out-of-place while riding or during daily activities. It just looks cool. Final Thoughts- The Nomad Ironborn motorcycle jacket is definitely the choice to make if someone is in the market for a quality riding jacket but does not want to spend hundreds of dollars on that choice. Solid construction with top-notch materials, temperature regulation, countless pockets, all while looking cool and stylish; that is a winner if I have ever heard one. I already have a few of my buddies asking about where they can get the jacket and I personally cannot wait to get some more miles in on this bad boy.

I recently purchased the Nomad Ironborn black with gray motorcycle jacket and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I was waiting impatiently all week for it and couldn’t wait to ride with it. The jacket not only looks stylish but also provides excellent protection while riding. The black and gray color combination gives the jacket a modern and edgy look. The sleek design and slim fit make it very flattering and it looks great according to my wife. The quality of the materials used is top-notch and feels sturdy and long-lasting. One of the standout features of this jacket is the level of protection it offers. The jacket is equipped with durable padding in the shoulders, elbows, and back, providing peace of mind while riding. You would think it feels bulky but on the contrary it allows for comfortable movement. The jacket also has ventilation zippers, which are a great addition for warmer weather. They allow for airflow which is useful for long rides. The zippers are easy to use and provide flexibility in adjusting the level of ventilation. Another great feature is the abundance of pockets. The jacket has several zippered pockets which are perfect for storing your keys or other small items without risk of falling out.
