Features

  • HIGH-QUALITY-Our innovative foam has all the benefits of outdated materials such as latex and memory foam without the typical drawbacks like sinking in or sleeping hot. We made sure that our foam sleeps cool, is the ideal balance of soft and firm, and has localized bounce so you won't disturb your sleeping partner. Next, we finished the Nod with a soft and cozy, yet breathable, grey knit cover.
  • AFFORDABLE PRICE-We cut costs-not corners. By focusing in on the main components of great sleep-comfort and support-we were able to make a remarkably comfortable mattress at a price that's accessible to everyone.
  • RISK-FREE-Backed by a 10-Year Limited Warranty, the Nod by Tuft & Needle also comes with a risk-free 100-Night Sleep Trial so you can sleep soundly knowing you can actually take the time you need to decide if this mattress is right for you.
  • NOTE: Please allow up to 72 hours for the mattress to fully expand and for any potential odor to dissipate.

Description

Nod makes great sleep accessible to all without compromising quality or comfort. The Nod Hybrid mattress is layered with 2 inches of T&N Adaptive foam on top, 1 inch of slow recovery foam (to reduce the bouncing effect of foam and springs), a layer of 6 inch pocket coils, and a 1 inch base foam; The foam is responsive, but not too soft, while the springs are supportive, but not too firm; Last, the mattress is covered with a ventilated fabric designed to stay cool while you sleep. Our Adaptive foam sleeps cooler and is more supportive than outdated materials such as memory foam and latex. Backed by a 100-night sleep trial so you can sleep soundly knowing you can actually take the time you need to decide if this mattress is right for you.

  • Pretty Decent Mattress
Size: Queen
I needed a new mattress and after hunting and hunting for weeks for one, I finally bit the bullet and bought this one. My mom was the one who recommended it to me, after she was recommended it by her co-worker. I was originally looking at one of the more mainstream ones like Casper or Purple. But after doing some reading online it looks like those are, in terms of cost, 25% product 75% marketing. I’m trying to stay within a certain budget so this was a good middle ground. I’ve never tried a hybrid mattress before, only either traditional spring, or full on memory foam. I personally am a big fan of memory foam. I just love it. So this was an interesting twist. So far I like it. I don’t wanna go as far to say that I love it, as I’ve only slept on it for 3 nights so far. Previously I was living in my car, so having my own place and a REAL mattress, has alone, been a god-send. I was able to drag the box in from outside and get it all setup by myself, I’m also a twenty year old guy, I’m not jacked or anything, pretty average, but I’m also not a weakling either lol. As with other bed-in-box mattresses, you unroll it and cut the plastic shrink wrap to “inflate” the mattress. Was kinda cool, my first time doing this. It really “sprung up” pretty fast! I was expecting more of a slow inflation, but the second I cut the plastic it was already going full force! I left the mattress for a night before sleeping on it so the memory foam portion could fully expand. I did, and still do, find it a bit odd that I can feel the inner springs along the sides of the mattress, but I guess that doesn’t matter because I’m not sleeping on the 10” side of the mattress LOL. At first laying down on it, I didn’t think it was gonna work. It felt way to firm for what I normally look for in a mattress. But I gave it a shot. First night, I slept all night, without really waking up much. Which is a shocker, I typically wake up throughout the night. Even waking up in the AM and moving around on it I still was feeling like it was too firm for my taste. The second night went well too. Third night, same situation. My back doesn’t hurt really either and I honestly feel like I get a good nights sleep on it. My mom told me she had a very similar experience, thought it was too firm at first, but quickly came to love it, says it’s the best mattress she’s ever bought. Going to give it a week or two and then come back and update this review. But so far I guess I don’t really have anything negative to say about it. Good price, good mix of foam / inner-spring combination, easy to setup and get delivered. ... show more

  • King is sooooo firm. Full mattresses are wonderful, Why the huge difference?
Size: Full
2nd update after a couple of months use: I now really love the mattress. It has softened a bit and it no longer makes me feel sore. My boyfriend has LOVED this mattress from the first night he slept on it but he weighs far more than I do so that may be the key. It might just be perfect for heavier sleepers from the start. I will say that it doesn’t really have great side support if that matters to you... I don’t care about that as much as I thought I would, really. I just want a supportive, comfortable bed where I can get a good night sleep and this is now the perfect mattress! Maybe it took a little time to soften or maybe I just needed to get used to the firmness after sleeping on a conventional pillow top. But the bottom line is that I love it now and wanted to let you know... I’m going to change my review to 5 stars! Update: If you want a very firm mattress this may be what you’re looking for. It’s been over a month and it’s not much better. I really REALLY want to like this mattress but I’m sore all the time now, especially in the morning right when I get up. It’s the firmest bed I’ve ever had. When I lie on my side my hand falls asleep and my fingers tingle. I have wide shoulders and hips and a small waist so maybe I just need a softer pillow top mattress to fill in the gaps. I may look into returning it soon... for reference I am 5’4” and about 135lbs , mostly in my hips and thighs. Maybe that makes a difference. Also, another annoyance is that the side compresses to the side bed rail when you sit on the very edge. original review: I bought 3 of these mattresses for my new house. All are on platform beds. I’ve never had a hybrid or memory foam mattress, only traditional mattresses. The king bed got lost in delivery somewhere so I had to wait an extra week for that one so I slept on one of the full beds... it was wonderful. Super comfortable and I was happy I decided to venture into the hybrid world. Fast forward a week to when my king bed arrived... it is so SO FIRM... I can sleep on almost anything so I decided I would just get used to it. First day... I had weird left forearm and hand pain... strange, wasn’t sure what that was about... second day the exact same thing started on the other arm and hand... that eased a bit but by the end of the week my leg and foot started to hurt.. I immediately recognized that as sciatica, which I’ve had before from a pinched inflamed nerve in my lower spine. Dr says the mattress is just way too firm and the arm/hand pain is the same thing, just higher in the spine. I’m super sore and stiff when I get up in the morning too which has never happened before. I’ve gone back to sleeping on the full (exact same mattress) and everything is calming down. Why is the king bed so so much firmer? If it doesn’t soften up a bit soon I’ll have to return for something else... it’s a shame because the fulls are wonderful. ... show more
