First off I bought a pair of these fans for two different projects. The first is for my Asus RT-AC5300 router which alone doesn't overheat, but in effort to make the router last a long as possible this fan does an awesome job dropping the CPU temp by 20-25F to right around 108F for the CPU. Second fan I used for my laptop which I have sitting under it to blow cool air through the intake duct.. The goal here again is to keep the PC as cool as possible as well preventing the builtin laptop from kick on (one less thing to replace down the road). For both of these project I used a NOYITO 5V USB speed controller (https://amzn.to/2KkZudL) so I could control the fan speed. What is interesting about this speed controller is that is offer more power to the fan on full speed then if I had the fan connected directly into the same usb port. You would think they will be the same. As for cons, while the fans are on full speed they are loud. You can still have a normal conversation with them at 100% the sound carries from several rooms away. At 25% they are near silent, but I run them around 40-50% with is just enough to hear them but not annoying. Second the color is odd and I'm not a fan of them....I'm sure that is to make them unique. In summary quality fans and I would recommend them.

We bought this to solve a specific problem: a ridiculously hot PS4. We'd bought a PS4 for the living room, and it produced so much heat that we not only couldn't leave it on a shelf in the entertainment center (open front, enclosed on three sides), but it had to live on a dining chair in front of the entertainment center and we had to keep a fan blowing on it just to keep the heat down. This was miserable for everyone, and only marginally controlled the problem. My living room was cluttered, and the PS4 still stayed hot. So we bought this fan and installed it in the back of the shelving unit. The difference was night and day. Not only do I have my dining chair (and a good chunk of my living room space) back, but we can close the front door on the shelving unit and the PS4 stays cool no matter what we're running on it. If you want to use it for a similar purpose, make sure you have ample airflow within the space, of course, but it's a winner. The fan runs quietly, the PS4 stays cool, and the entire set up is aesthetically pleasing. It was a snap to put in. I can't think of a downside.

It runs like a champ. You can't beat a good quality fan like this. I plugged it into my 5v USB port on my router and the flow is extremely sufficient. My 5GHz chip was overheating and rebooting the router, and this increased the airflow and cured that issue. update 4/13/20 still running non-stop whisper quiet Update 1/19/21 I replaced my router yet moved this fan to cool my Roku. It continues to run with very little noise. I also have purchased two others with no issues.

very impressed with quality. Bought for an Arduino project running straight off the 5v Arduino regulator. Even though the PWM of the Arduino is 490 Hz rather than the standard 25kHz the speed control works flawlessly. Very smooth / quiet fan.

Rlepaced some really loud fans in my home server rack. I've always replaced fans with Noctua as they are extremely quite. These did not disappoint.
