  • Don't buy discounted NOCO batteries, buy new.
Bought three NOCO batteries if which two were discounted batteries for a couple of Harleys and an orv and the one new battery worked great, but the other two were delivered uncharged. I returned the two and bought two new replacement batteries that worked great. Great weight savings over gel-cell batteries, very pleased so far! ... show more

  • Excellent price and performance
2015 Kawasaki Versys 650 LT. I replaced a lead-acid battery that won't hold a charge. The bike cranked and started instantly! The spacers are a nice addon. I used 2 and it fit fine. Build quality is fine. Just some plastic. Looks like it's glass fiber reinforced. Ok, all is good except the terminals ends are terrible. Quality is excellent but why are they pyramid shaped? The typical battery terminals are square, meaning attaching the square terminals is not possible without flattening them. Even if you remove the ends, the flat won't work either because of the terminals have those ears. It went from a simple battery replacement to a frustrating mess. I didn't have my tools where I was at the time, even a hammer. I had to use the old battery to hammer the terminals against the frame enough to get the screw to reach the threads. The negative terminal is hidden underneath the which added quite some time to get it installed. Amazing battery considering lead-acid batteries go for the same price. Those terminals tho... good lord. ... show more

  • Works for my sportster 1200
So far so good. Cranks better than the HD battery that came with it when I bought it used, and better than the ACDelco that I replaced it with. Due to the HD reversed terminals, it was a little tricky to install, but it fits on its back np. Much lighter than stock as well! Will update if it fails.

  • Good when it works, make sure it fits
I bought this for my 2006 Suzuki C90T. I liked the idea of a light battery with more cranking amps. When I got it I was surprised at how light it really was. It is much smaller than the lead based battery I was replacing and it came with several spacers to make sure that it would fit correctly. I put the batteries side by side until they were the same height and then put the battery in. It was a simple installation taking less than 10 minutes. The cranking amps are impressive and the bike starts quickly every time. Overall I think it's a great purchase for the summer season. One drawback I have found is that it really doesn't like the cold at all so if you're not going to be riding for a little or if the night temps are going to go down a bit, make sure you have it plugged into a battery tender. I have come out a couple of times in the morning to head to work only to find that the battery has no juice at all. I am able to plug it in and it will charge within a few hours which is nice. It does mean I can't ride to work. I wish there was some way to make sure the battery always had enough juice to crank, even when it's a little colder. ... show more

  • It's worth the money
I use this on my 2020 honda foreman 520 atv. I have a plow and winch. The battery hasn't let me down yet.. the atv is out side in a non heated tarp shed so it gets exposed to new england cold and heat. The battery is amazing. The winch has not killed it yet

  • Starting a KTM 1190r easily
There are so many mixed reviews on lithium batteries for ADV bikes. But I needed a new battery and NOCO had a wicked deal on prime day. My KTM 1190 has been a hard starter on cooler days. And cooler I mean 60. The NOCO basically fixed this issue. I am testing now below freezing. It does not start my bike right away. But if I turn my headlight on for a few minutes the battery turned the bike over no problem and started. I need to keep testing this out of curiousity. Another thing is people say lithium does not have the starting capacity for multiple start attemps. I proved this wrong getting stuck in quicksand. Many starts through out this day. In the end I needed to lay the bike completely on its side to get unstuck. In doing this my muffler filled with water. So I needed to literally pump out with the battery. After probably 10 long cranking attempts and lots of water spraying everywhere the 1190 sputtered to life. I know my old battery would have stranded me. And I do not think even a new Yuasa would have cranked that hard that many times. Another weird side effect of this battery are my grip heaters. They are WAY hotter. High is really really hot now. I am not sure why this is? Maybe less voltage drop? It is a good side effect. Battery fit perfectly with 1 spacer. I did have to make sure it was seated in the battery box. It looked seated but the plastic door that retains the battery would not close. I had to pull it out and do a double check with old battery. I got it to seat right and door shut perfectly. My bike is a 2015 1190r. So my guess is it will be the same for all of them in this era. ... show more

  • 6 months later fired right up!
Bought this to replace standard motorcycle batteries that kept dying on me 3-6 months in, even with trickle chargers. Installed this last September and haven’t touched it until today (March 30). Bike started right up with plenty of power. We’ve had harsh temperatures swings and even without a battery maintainer outperformed my expectations! ... show more
