I really like these statues but agree with other reviewers that the color is not like the pictures. It's more of a pure gray without much detail color wise. This isn't a huge deal to me and I'm still happy, but can see why others could be more disappointed.

Basically the foundations (both the ground and stone actual foundation) of the Castor & Pollux are super ugly and unlevel with each other -- in a way which doesn't seem natural or likely to mimic perhaps any real-life such unlevelness. Perhaps I'm just being neurotic with respect to this object, but, honestly it really pissed me off when I noticed it right after opening and placing it where I wanted it....and, I don't *fully* regret purchasing it, but, I would not again, knowing what I know, now.. ... show more
