This relaxer works well with no damage. I do mix in Olaplex to help with that, though. I'm White and my hair is platinum/white and while this claims to be non-yellowing, it does leave my hair looking like it's been peed on after use. So even with the conditioner that's supposed to combat yellow that it comes with, it's not true for me. However, by using a variety of other shampoos, conditioners and treatments for blonde/gray/silver hair, I'm able to get it back to normal within the day. ... show more

Perm virgin hair, I washed my hair 9 times before the suds turned from pink to white. I was so tired I wanted to cry. Overall the outcome was good.

This is the best relaxer that I have used after many years of using this type of product. My hair is vey wavy and at times I prefer a smoother look. In addition to the relaxer the package includes a pre-treatment and conditioner, plastic gloves, and very thorough instructions. It is easy to use, no odor (during or after use) and works exactly as the timing chart indicates. After treatment my hair felt soft with no tangling. This product worked great on removing the yellow from my grey strands, but left my hair very dry and took a few days to get it back a normal moisturized state.
