i've had these for a few months now. They seem to be holding up to the weather and ,because of the planter base, are pretty stable. They were fairly easy to assemble all by myself, but it took some time. It got easier and faster after the first one was assembled.I have 2 sets of them that are used to shield air conditioning units. I was trying to hide a very tall AC (which sits on a concrete hurricane pad, making it even taller). In addition, it sits on the edge of a sidewalk. So I decided to order the double panel with flower boxes and only use one flower box. It was listed as 45 inches high, but the top rail is actually 44 inches, while the side posts account for the extra one inch. So keep that in mind if you expect the top of the panel to cover a 45-inch unit. Mine is 47 inches so I knew I'd have a gap, it’s just 3 inches instead of 2. The materials are good and much heavier than I expected. The pieces fit together well and the pre-drilled pilot holes were all in the right places. But there were two issues I found very frustrating. One, the instructions are very, very poor. Having been a tech writer, I know how to write and illustrate instructions, and this is not at all adequate. In the directions, they identify the parts by letters… yet none of the parts are actually marked with those letters. For most of the components, it doesn’t matter because they are easily identified and interchangeable. But the posts (both tall and short) are not interchangeable. They have to be installed in specific positions on the correct side so the slots and pilot holes are in the right places. Take your time and figure it out, because it is not evident from the drawings and there are no words of explanation. You will definitely need a drill, but they provide the right size screwdriver bit, so that was very nice. They also say you need a mallet… I can only assume this is to hit yourself when you get the posts in the wrong position because it was totally unnecessary for fitting the pieces. I ignored their order of assembly and avoided a lot of frustration by screwing in the top rail and bottom panel to the first post before sliding in all the rails… much easier when it came to putting on the second post. The last issue was with the small plastic brackets provided that were meant to fasten the two panels together. There is no way they would be adequate and would be sure to break before long. Instead, I worked from the inside and used stainless steel L-brackets for corner strength. This worked well, and they are hidden rather than the plastic ones that were to be installed on the front. That is really the only design flaw I found. In general, I am happy with the finished product the way I am using them. I will use the extra flower box against a fence. ... show more

This solved my problem with the HOA- it hides my trash cans and holds flowers so it looks like an intentional piece of garden decor. I added wheels to the bottom using a piece of wood to anchor them to and now it’s mobile (for easy access to the trash cans). The plastic is easy to clean (just spray with the hose). I like the option of swapping out plants based on the season. I don’t recommend planting directly into the planter box as the drainage is inadequate for holding soil. ... show more

Unable to assemble the panels. The slats do not fit firmly in the posts, which makes it almost impossible for an individual to align the eleven slats and two rails installed in the left post with the slots in the right hand post to complete the panel. Even with two people, I think it would be tricky. Had I not missed the return date, this item would have gone back. Useless to me. ... show more

Very disappointed with this product. After assembling it and setting it up outside, it collapsed/fell apart with just normal wind. As you can see in the photo, the panels came apart and the structure is not sturdy at all. This product is not made to withstand basic outdoor conditions. Unfortunately, I’m past the return window, so I’m stuck with it. Save your money and buy something sturdier. ... show more
