These curtains are a bit on the sheer side. To me this is a plus. I did not want blackout curtains but I did want some color to help pull the room together. There is light coming through and I can make out the blinds behind the curtains but they are not sheer. The material seems like it could snag easily but with no cats or children in the house this is not a concern. I did have to iron the curtains before hanging but boy do they look great. The material is super nice, nicer than pictures show for sure. Would be easy to clean and cannot see them having wrinkles after a wash, so no need to iron (and I wouldn't since the material seems it would melt down a bit with an iron that's more than just warm. they are more beautiful than the pictures do for them. I got them way longer than I needed so I could fit them on shorter windows, cutting excess to make myself some throw pillows to match. I am going to be able to get 4 throws from 4 pannels and still have some left over. they feel and look like super high quality curtains. (sorry no pictures as I don't have them hung yet due to replacing the windows soon). I feel i got a great deal for my money. They are slightly room darkening, but not fully light blocking and that's what I wanted. ... show more

If the material for these drapes was better and not so very polyester, I'd give these 5 stars. They are thin and lighter weight than I'd hoped, but not see through. LOVE the pattern. Got the olive/sage green. Really look good, as long as you don't get too close and inspect the material. Material is cheap. No idea how well they will hold up to washing, but we shall see. Right now, I really like them. I do think the price should be for 2 and not just 1 panel. ... show more

OK lets start.. So I read reviews and looked at everything. MOST IMPORTANTLY Customer pictures. before ordering. Some pictures showed quite a bit of light coming in and possibly be distracting for sleep tv etc. So decided to order double since they are going into the sunset facing windows ... mind you this is still the cost of 1 good "blackout curtain" The first 3 pictures are at high noon. Showing the light filtering and how I hung them back to back. ( I do recommend using the same set facing the same way. So patterns match the side you face * I learned the hard way ) ... show more
