This is a great small study and/or computer table. Made of ecologically sustainable bamboo it is surprisingly strong and stable. UPS badly mangled the carton yet it was so well packed there was not a scratch or ding. Very pleased with my purchase.

Initially, I really liked this desk. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy. It's exactly the length I needed for my space. That said, I've had this desk less than a year and have never put glasses or liquid on it and the top is already splitting in several spots. It's no longer a smooth surface. I've contacted the company to see about a replacement or refund but have yet to hear back. UPDATE: I heard back from seller and they agreed the desk should be replaced because of the splits but they want me to purchase another desk and then they will refund that one. I'm not sure why they can't send a replacement or just refund my initial purchase. ... show more

But if you’re looking for fully functional drawers for $180 bucks I’d purchase elsewhere. The drawers fit in loosely, as you pull them out one side or the other turns at an angle because it does not fit flush as if the space for the drawers are a tad bigger than the drawers themselves. But as mentioned the desk itself is very sturdy and seems/feels of good quality. This doesn’t translate to the drawers whatsoever but they’re also tucked far into the desk so it doesn’t ruin any aesthetic, I just wouldn’t put much inside of it. ... show more

I liked how attractive the desk is for a great price with easy assembly instructions. What I did not appreciate was how the desk is not cut perfectly and has a wobbly top. For me, the source came from part of the part d parts, which do not seem to be properly aligned. While the size of the desk and wood finish at the quality are extremely tough to beat, it's sturdiness leaves something to be desired. ... show more

This is a very nice piece of furniture. Mine arrived in a banged-up box but no damage found. All screws and bolts require a 4mm hex wrench, included. Here’s my assembly tip: if you’re a cyclist you may have a 4-5-6mm “Y”-shaped wrench; if so throw away the included hex wrench and use the bike tool to assemble - it makes everything easy and tight, in half the time. ... show more

    • Great minimalist desk (Update: Company Quickly Addressed Problem)
I bought this desk for my nine-year-old for remote school last year. The desk -- which has a neat, minimalist look -- appears to be made of actual bamboo, so I figured it would hold up. It has worked really well for our purposes. SEE UPDATE BELOW. But the drawer, which was holding only a few items and was not opened and closed frequently, fell apart. I tried to hammer it back together with the teeny staples that had held it together, but now the drawer wont fit into the desk. It's very frustrating. UPDATE: After reading my review, the company *immediately* reached out via email and arranged to send a replacement drawer with sturdier screws ( they said that had been a recurring problem). I was very happy with their customer service - they were prompt, friendly and courteous. The drawer arrived really quickly. ... show more

*update May 2022 Still a great little desk. I use it almost daily and very happy. Totally worth the price.* Great little desk. I'm WFH and my smaller writing desk just wasn't cutting it anymore. I ordered the 46" size and it is plenty of room for what I need. I could tell that it was not the first time the box had been opened as everything was was oddly wrapped with no real protection. I looked at everything before I put it together and I didn't find any scratches or other issues. I really like that it is solid wood and not veneer. It was very easy to put together and they provided a couple extra screws. A few other reviewers mentioned the thinner screws used for the braces tend to strip out and I ran into the same issue. I guess I'm just too strong? ;-) The stickers they use to label the parts are a bugger to get off, even with a sticker remover. Another thing to note is the drawers are tiny! I mean, only 1.75 inches tall. It was hard to find drawer organizers that would fit as most are 1.8-2.5 inches. I did find some that were only 1 inch tall and they fit. (Three by Three Seattle Drawer Organizer 1" Set of 5). Other reviewers called out drawers arriving broken, or broke within a month. I have not had that issue yet, but will update my review if it happens. ... show more
