Having a clean dry place to inflate or deflate an inflatable paddle board or kayak, makes it so easy to pack up after a long day on the water. We bought two and they are easy to spread out and stake down. Ours got a bit dirty due to some mud and when we washed them on a gentle cycle with cold water, the logo and printing started to peel and crack. I wish that they either used printing that would at least handle the delicate cycle in cold water. I have the 11’x32” iRocker SUP. It was an investment and I want to keep it safe. My board fits on it with room to spare on all sides. I can even lay the paddle beside it as wells as my other gear. So far I am loving this landing mat. I use it when I’m inflating and deflating my board. I have laid it out on the grass, on sand, and in parking lots. I know it’s more for preventing dirt, sand, and stuff from sticking to a wet board before loading it up, but I do feel like it provides just enough protection so I don’t worry so much when I have to inflate or deflate in a parking lot. It’s waterproof- reminds me of tent fabric, so when a wet board is placed on it the water beads up and rolls off. It rolls up super small and fits in my SUP bag easily. I also started using it to protect my car seats from wet butts while driving home from the lake. Bonus! I felt silly buying this, but now that I have it I can’t imagine living without it. ... show more

    • Helps keep your SUP clean, but very thin and will not protect from rocks, not durable at all.

First time used in my garage to blow up my iSUP, (on smooth concrete, no rocks, nothing sharp), slid the mat with the iSUP on it a few feet and ended up with three holes in the mat. It is nice that the mat is very lightweight, but there is a price to be paid for that. The price is that the material is extremely thin and not durable at all. So it will not protect your SUP from scratches or damage from tiny rocks or anything sharp. If you just want it to help keep sand and dirt off while you are deflating and rolling up your iSUP, this will work for you. If you want any type of protection, keep looking. ... show more

Ok, it’s simple its a mat. But I tried a tarp (too big to fold small) and towels (Too bulky) and they I found this. It tires down, perfect size and folds into a small pouch. Yes. It’s expensive for what it is, but I bought an inflatable sup to be compact and this fits the bill.
